They lost Coach Dave Morris. Under him, they made a brief run at competitiveness. He left and man of the solid players that he recruited followed him to DI UW-GB and some have followed him to DII CSU-P in Colorado.

EC was down by nine when Averkamp got a blocked shot.  He either taunted or inappropriately celebrated (radio broadcaster not quite sure) and got T'd up. Josh Burch was expelled from the college just prior to the basketball season for a major violation of the school code of conduct.

He is back in school and doing well on and off the court.

UW-SP was obliterated by Wheaton 4-0 over the weekend. I was surprised at the one-sidedness of this match.

The Aurora v Chicago matchup is compelling.

Chicago is 11-4-3 with one of the most difficult schedules out there - possibly the most difficult in the Central Region.

Aurora is 19-2-1 with a relatively easy schedule. Any predictions?

I think Edgewood's tournament hopes just went up in smoke. They have been having trouble scoring lately. Their last three games:

W v MBBC 1-0
L v Aurora  0-1
L v Dom    1-2

Only two goals in three games. Not a typical Edgewood run.

Either Ben's keeper is incredible or Conc-W is really bad at finishing. Conc-W have had a brutal schedule early it will be interesting to see if they get back on track.

Both Lakeland and CUW can turn things around in a hurry.

MBBC/WLC is always a very tight match.

How does Alverno score two on MSOE?

I think Edg is going to give AU a run for the money this year.

Lakeland's 2-0 loss to Marian is surprising, but I really wonder about Dominican's 6-0 drubbing of Marian. DU could ber really good this year (and Mayra is not doing the scoring).
