Does MI tech play many WIAC schools. It would be interesting to see how the WIAC matches up against them, or any other D2 schools for that matter. I think the WIAC has done well in the past against D2 schools.

Oshkosh will be getting a new assistant next season. WARHAWK assistant coach Pete VonAllen will be joining the Titan staff.
That post makes me think of the question, how many teams in the WIAC have full time asst coaches as opposed to part time asst coaches. It would seem that those with full time asst coachs would have a huge advantage as those coachs would be around campus a lot more for recruiting help, meeting with players, etc. Is Coach VonAllen going to be full time with the new position. That would certainly be a huge plus for the Titans program It would be an interesting question to look at the differences between assistant coaches with regard to the men's and women's teams, also. On a different note. Janet Blair (phoenix rising) didn't your daughter, Liz Eldred attend UW Stout and UW GB. I would think, as a mom, that you would have some insight into the recruiting process and what factors (ie. tuition, geographic location etc) come into play with regard to what college to choose... Of course UWGB can offer athletic scholarships, so that could make a big difference with costs..etc

Do any of the conference teams currently travel with two separate buses?

Relatively new to the board after being off here for some time and maybe a dumb question, but has there been any talk with cost cutting issues of going to some sort of traveling partner schedule. Yes, there is an odd number of teams in the WIAC, so don't even know if it's doable, but just a question?
