A general comment in the midst of all of this.  I can't speak for all of the NESCAC schools because my knowledge is limited to my experience - but Williams is 'need blind'.  Having spent my first full season enjoying the games and the pre/post tailgating - the people are as diverse as one would see in any state university and they are from many walks of life and income levels (teachers, carpenters and the like).  So for the commentary regarding 'elitists' and being away from the normal polo games - it could not be further from the truth.  With regard to the person who commented that they loved going to Williamstown and routinely beat them by 50 points - the history books don't indicate that ever happened - he/she may remember winning the Nobel prize as well. Frankly, I don't have an opinion on D3 playoffs - but disagree with the 75 roster cap and would like to see that changed.
