That is true. I stand corrected. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.  ;)

Congrats to LC for your hard fought win over Hardin-Simmons this afternoon.  You guys played an amazing game. With that said I would like to shed some light on a few things which might not be known to many others....

I would like to start with a quote from LC head coach Dennis Dunn. "The best team in the conference is not the conference champion. I think Louisiana College is the best team in the conference and one of the best in the nation."

It has to be great to feel your team is of conference champion caliber without the title and one of the top teams in the nation. It must be shameful, discouraging, and flat out sickening to know you ultimately lack in sportsmanship and class. To have a championship team, but not backed by any degree of reputable character or integrity is a shame. You should be ashamed to act such fools.

1. Halftime- Hardin Simmons were not allowed access to field house or locker room. The ENTIRE team and COACHING STAFF were made  to stand in the pouring rain on the tennis courts. Players needing to use the restroom had to do so behind trashcans. As  LC came out, Hardin Simmons coaches and players were ridiculed for having to stand outside in the rain. Great sportsmanship LC!!!

2. Louisiana College were repeatedly given dry, fresh footballs during the game. When HSU asked refs why they couldn't get dry footballs as well, they said,"They are coming from Louisiana College's side of the field."

That is about as low as it gets. IMHO, if you look up bull@#*! in the dictionary you will find Louisiana College affiliated somewhere.

LC DID play a great game and is equipped with some incredible athletes.  I feel the win would have been much more distinguished with better representation. You can be world class, but if you don't carry yourself as world class competitors, then it doesn't really matter how good you are.  Good luck to Louisiana College in the playoffs. You guys truly deserve it!! You played well and have proven yourself to be top notch contenders. I would love to see BMHU marked off the list next.

McMurry battled it out well against HSU today. Props to those guys for such vast improvement. I sure hope Jake Mullin's shoulder injury isn't at all serious. He's an impressive athlete.

I think so too, Ralph. I believe they have what it takes.

Hardin Simmons 31 Willamette 22

Congrats to the Cowboys. Offense executed well. Defense did an exceptional job. Willamette is a great competitor. Williamettes's Shotgun had an impressive 8 receptions for 222 yds.

Great way to start conference play!

Wishing the best for HSU Cowboys tomorrow afternoon as they open their season against Whitworth in Washington. It is my understanding ALL HSU games this season may be watched on the Hardin Simmons website, free of charge. Outstanding!! Commentary will also be broadcasted on 100.7. May this season be injury free and reward you with an ASC championship in 2010. Good luck guys!!!! ;D

Yessir (Pinche Baboso),

I am appalled by your ignorance, arrogance, and attitude. It didn't take long to recognize you're not that big a boy anyhow.  With that said, Jerry Abercrombie, I would love to take you up on the offer. Let's do "Brunch" Oct 3! We can meet at Drag By Customs. That's your place, right? If you would feel more comfortable, we can meet at Wal-Mart where you may orderfill our "brunch" in your "Meat and Produce" section. I was very impressed with your website and encourage others to view it as well.  With all you have said, and to think you may have been somebody...100% THUG!!!!

"WINK,WINK" ;) ;)

Give Thanks....
Give Thanks to God for being a good God. He blesses us all with so much but we still ask for more. The more we get, the less we appreciate. I just want God to know that I am saying "Thank You" for all of my many many many blessings.

Remember that Jerry Abercrombie? What has happened to your attitude?  :-[

Tough loss. It hurts pretty bad. Lot's of missed opportunities. Referees may have been recruited from e-bay.

The gentleman who assessed today's injuries reported Zavious Robbins had a minor MCL strain and very likely to return next week.

Feaster possibly strained his shoulder or bruised surrounding areas of the acromion, which is located distal to the clavicle. Results from an X-ray to rule out a fractured clavicle, and MRI which will aide in determining the extensiveness of the injury, will hopefully be reported very shortly.  The gentleman, during his assessment, seemed confident the injury was minimal.  Again, it is inconclusive and hope to find out more info soon.

I would like to congratulate Justin Feaster for outstanding performances and leadership exhibited throughout his years with HSU.  He has demonstrated exceptional levels of improvement both on and off the football field and am confident he will continue to do so throughout his senior year with Hardin-Simmons Football.  Many are aware, but others are not, Justin Feaster was interviewed by scouts and recruiters from the St. Louis Rams in Abilene this week.  HSU has an incredible team, both offensively and defensivley, for the 2009 season with an arsenal of weaponry to bring to the battle field. Best wishes to the Hardin-Simmons football team in executing total domination over the American Southwest Conference. I pray this year, although MHBU is a great team, they will no longer reign as champions of the ASC!!!!  Gentlemen, get'r done. GOOD LUCK.
