 >:(It was a good game, but good games are just that good games. We didn't win. 20 to 17, that was probably the closest any team has played them all year. I am going to say one thing before I get out of here, and you probably wont hear from me until next football season. You have to dance with the guy who brought you to the dance. We didn't pound the rock, and we forgot all about the dance.

I will make a prediction. The Cats are going to Wisconsin and come home with a barrel of cheese. They will win this game and advance to the finals. Don't ask me how I know this, I just do. I am old and wise. There is an old saying. "The bigger they are the harder they fall". Go Cats.

You know, when we watch football, we concentrate on the quarterback, the running backs and the receivers which is only normal, but I want to give a lot of credit to the offensive linemen, the defensive lineman and backs that make it all happen. Thanks you guys for a great season, and a lot of hard work. Give em hell Saturday, and Get-er-done. Love ya.

Proud Papa Joe and Grouchygramps arrived today for the game. Long cold ride. Came all the way in the Motor Home with no heater. Lots of rain. We will be in the parking lot at 10:00 AM. From what I have heard Saturday there will be no rain until 2 in the afternoon.  >:(

This is really exciting. Going into the playoffs. Of coarse, I m happy for my grandson who will be playing in the playoffs after missing a good part of the season with a broken collarbone. I am excited for him and hope he does well. Go Cats. Keep the winning streak alive.

Message to all you wildcat players. Don't Let Down! When you are 6 and 0 you might get a little complacent. Kick some ass and move on.

Sad day in Mudsville. How in the world do you break a clavical bone in football?Your shoulder pads go up to your neck, your helmet comes down to your neck, and bingo you break a clavical bone. They say everything happens for the best. I guess that is one consolation. Anyway, GO CATS! You will be fine, and it is my guess that you may go undefeated this yr, and for sure make it to the playoffs. I have got to hand it to Coach Smith. Linfield comes out running, running, and running some more and when they do pass the receiver is all alone and runs it in for a TD. Way to go Coach. See you all in Ashland.

My posting the post about #28 probably wasn't the right thing to do, but I just wanted the people to know some things about him. I realize Linfield is not a blow your horn school, but I believe we have to pump thise kids up a little. This got me to thinking. Being from way down here in California, I don't know squat about any of the players on the team. What do you guys think about posting some info on the players. If someone knows something about a player, post it. That way, when I go to a game I can say, Great play Aaron, or whoever. I forgot to commend the team on a great win over Hardin Simmons, so Here it is, Great Game, Good Execution. Keep it up.

One member of this team I am very close to. I have been watching him play football since he was 9 yrs old. This is a young man who loves the game of football, and has the heart. Three years ago when he was senior in High School, he was instrumental in leading his team to a perfect 11 and 0 record, and going to the section playoffs where they lost 7 to 0. He personally took it on himself to make sure every member of the team showed up at the weight room every morning to get in shape. They called him the workhorse during the game because when a few yards were needed he would get the call. He ran for a total of 1,950 yards that season and was named MVP. That same yr he played in the Lions Senior All Star game, and was named MVP. He loves Linfield College, and if given  the chance He will make a difference. I am looking forward to Linfield having a great year and making the playoffs. To you number 28, give it your all. Good luck.

Glad you had a good time at the game PPJ. Looks like the cats have everything together. May the rest of the season be as good.
