LX Frank and one other
EC Christenson

Oshkosh?
Stout Big player
Plat?

I have seen this before, poor SP and WW lost good players so they will not be as good. Both those teams 2nd unit could beat most teams.

I say the are 1-2 this next season based on returners.

Now lets see who transfers in/out and recruits.

Any predictions on the UW vs Superior score this weekend? Based on what they did to Winona tonight-won by 30- I would say if Superior can keep it with 50 that is great, not a rip on Superior, Badgers are preseason big ten #5, so they are good.

85-38 final

JMM do not start this again. Lets talk BB.

The AD poll looks fair. As long as SP is #1, it is off to a good start.

#2 thru #5 as voted below can trade places anyway you like. You can make a augument for anyone of these teams.

I think things will clear up a bit when each team gets 3-4 games in.

To win in this league you have to have special, difference makers players. A player that can have a impact on there team.

How many impact players does each team have. I do not mean good solid players, I mean players that are the tops in the conference. There team is 10-15 points better with them in the game.

I bet the top few teams have the most difference makers.

WW-Thompson
SP- Peterson, Flease
EC Mesiak
LX- wow, many very good players, not sure who the  impact player. Frank?

Hoop Junkie,

UWRF? What happened with them last year? Won there first 10-15 games and fell apart. They lost two seniors starters, I just do not see it.

UWSP and everyone else, agree. Last year Coach Enger did a great job coaching them up to get the team where she did, this year, she could only mess it up by over caoching. They are LOADED.

I think you have WW all wrong, they will be in the top half, you can move Stout down a few too.

WW will have inpact recruits, Dani Thompson is back and transfers will help

SP is the favorite, lost one senior playing 15 minutes per game, a great recruiting class and  high level transfer.
LX may be right in their shorts, LX has a great transfer I hear and did not lose much.
EC was great to end the year, young kids getting older. Again great transfer I hear.
Stout lost a lot.
RF lost two impact seniors last year who started 3-4 years.
Sup will be tougher
Osh and Plat I just don't know

Stevens Point looks tough with that class and transfers added to last years team.

Just hand them the trophy....... wait lets see what EC and WW have in store for this year. I bet both brought in some transfers and plenty of recruits.

LX has almost everyone back to. A stud transfer for them will make them tough to.

Well here we go again, I think is will be a 5-6 team race as every year is.

You make it sound like EC one year ago.

When tranfers are done and recruits are named WW will be tough again.

I think any prediction next year must start with SP on top. Lost one Senior who played under 15 minutes per game.

LX lost the least, so they should be tough.

EC lost one Senior

RF- lost three seniors. Top players back

WW- Thonson back makes up for some of the seniors lost

Stout- lost A LOT. Depends who these transfers are.

Superior- lost little

Oshkosh- can she keep returners

Platteville- starting over

Once we know transfers and recuits this can all change

I think the WIAC had a good weekend. Congrats to Stevens Point and good luck next weekend. Whitewater you had a great year.

I would say the battles of the WIAC regular season prepared these teams well for the NCAA tournament.

How about the last weekend?

WW rolls Sup
STP plays like they did against EC  ten days earlier
LC stays on a roll. Looks like LC WW final right now
Stout and EC battle to the wire. From reading on the board it sounds like a typical stout ec game
RF takes down Platteville with no T Gregorich.

Going into this week WW and LC have played the best over the past few weeks. So based on how this season has gone, neither will win it all.  So, does that mean STP wins it all?

The wacky WIAC should be fun the see who has the best week. I do not even want to guess at this point.

For you EC and Stout folks on this board ae those two games when you play each other  the most heated games of the year when you two play?

Stout guy said: "And, yes, I have told Mark on occasion that I wished he would give Julia Hirssig more minutes. (I said he talks to me, I didn't say he listens.)"

That sounds like a good Coach. Every Coach can talk, just please do not listen to us fans.
