Can't believe the excluded all the OAC teams.. Such a competitive conference especially how ONU had beaten North Central Ill. i did really expect ONU or OTT to go (Ott just because of the head to head) ... too bad i think the top of the OAC can easily compete with other conference champions

Just noticed that was your 1st post....welcome aboard, STM!! +k
Thanks for the welcome man
I guess I just see a team that plays up or down to most teams level as they have had close victories against both top ranked teams all the way down to middle of the pack OAC teams (except to a MUC team that's looking better and better every week... but can't really say what would have happened with a healthy QB; not that that would have affected the defense) .. but it seems like to me head to head would say that the winner would be the better team and if they played again today the head to head would give a reasonable guess of the result?
but like you i am not on the selection committee, and probably haven't followed d3 as long as you have

I don't understand all this talk of ONU but none about OTT? Why is ONU so much better than OTT when OTT beat them i believe week 3. OTT also beat Capital later in the season and is 2nd in the OAC with head to head wins against ONU and CAP.. Their starting QB was injured during the Marietta game, and was still injured for their MU game, so their originally 3rd string QB had to be thrown in the fire... Why is no one considering them or does head to head with the same record not matter?
