Don't put me in the same breath as OAS!!!!!!!  I guess as one gets older, priorities begin to change.  I don't recall the last MIAC hoops game I have seen.  Don't get me wrong, I still read the board, just can't comment on games I haven't seen.

Interesting thing did happen this morning while I was talking to  my wife.  I was reminiscing about "the good 'ole days" in which we would take road trips to games and the biggest priority was which bar to go to pre-game.  I still remember the bars near Carthage, UIU, Buena Vista, Stevens Point, etc.    The games were good too (I think)

I was brought back to reality when my wife told me "that was a long time ago"!

Oh well, I'll add my two cents when ever I can!

Anyone have any thoughts on how many MIAC teams will make the NCAA tourney?

After following the soccer NCAA's, this basketball season is very similar.  No real favorite, a few upsets in the MIAC playoffs (GAC losing at home to SJU), but the selection commitee still sent 3 teams.

Of these, GAC made a huge run and lost in the Championship Game.

1)  Can the MIAC get three in?

2)  Will one team make a long run in the tourney?

Survivor Research:

I was curious about this Bethel grad on survivor and did a little research.  Here is her response to favorite drinks:

Corona, Stella, gin & tonic, bloody Mary

Let the bethel jokes begin :)

Don't know if anyone caught the latest article out of oshkosh from UWO's favorite writer Larry Graham---you may remember him from his article bashing the university for hiring Schumacher and being very critical of that decision.

Well, he's back with a very different tone.  Here's the headline:

Schumacher proving she is the latest top-notch coach

did the gusties pull one out of the Wisconsin Badger playbook?  Up HUGE early on, and end up winning only by 10?  I haven't seen the box score, but jumping out to an early lead like that I would have hoped for the Gusties to have a larger lead then 10 at the final horn.

Where are you coming from to get to St. pete?

Seeing the look on your face and OAS's was classic when you guys took that "short" cut!  One of the greatest D3hoops pre-game meetings ever!!!!!
