Daoustian's post was dripping with sarcasm. My sense is that he would love a long Kelton leash so that Amherst can keep whipping his ass. Just check out recent Columbia's won-loss records to get the full flavor of his post (2-8 and 4-6 while Kelton was d-coord.)

Great game between Union and Ithaca. I thought Union played very well against a very talented Ithaca team. They have nothing to be ashamed of and I am actually very excited about the talent on this team. Darnel Thomas deserves a special mention. He ran like an absolute stud! I was surprised at the quality of the Ithaca live stream. The production values were as good as I have ever seen for a D3 webcast. It was a pleasure to watch from a football standpoint and technical standpoint. Can't wait to see how this team plays against Utica.

Agreed. Strong work on the season preview. Excited to see what the Dutchmen have to offer this year. After several seasons of dividing my attention between the NESCAC and the Liberty League, my attention is squarely on Union this year. Not sure they have enough to handle Hobart but this is a talented squad coming back. I hope to be up in Schenectady several times this year and will report back to this forum as time allows. Looking forward to it!

Trinit final roster posted. That was down to the wire. I hear there were several difficult choices made here.

Trinity wins in overtime to cap an undefeated season. In the words of the immortal Jack Buck, I don't believe what I just saw! What a gutsy win by these guys. Three times this year Trinity was down in the fourth quarter and found a way to get it done.. Could not be more proud of the Bantams and Coach Devanney.

What a gutsy win for Trinity! If I'm not mistaken, Wesleyan's loss secures a NESCAC championship for the Bants. Can anyone confirm? Also, anyone happen to know if a NESCAC championship is enough to get a ring, or does Trinity require an undefeated season to distribute "the bling"? 47 in a row in the COOOOOOP! Way to go, boys!

My son has confirmed Trinity has power. Even cable TV!

Is it too soon to start hyping Amherst at Trinity? Bantams look real good (although playing against Middlebury's back-up QB didn't hurt).

Trinity won ugly today. Their defense is stout, especially the front seven. I worry about their ability to put up points. All signs point to a huge match-up at Amherst. I would be more comfortable if that were a home game. Should be fun.

I believe the coaching staff made a change at QB at Trinity because the offense was too one-dimensional. They did throw the ball a little more last week with pretty good results.

I agree. Trinity-Amherst should be a heck of a show. If Trinity pulls it out and Amherst beats Williams the week after, that should leave all three teams 7-1. Can someone explain to this new NESCAC fan how the tiebreaker scenario is figured out? Thanks.

Trinity looked strong in a scrimmage against Wesleyan this last weekend with what looks like an impact freshman class. Week two against Williams should be interesting.

I guess McDonald was lured back to Wes by Whalen. Wonder if that means Trinity still has a coaching need or if those last two hires fill out the coaching staff
