not to change the subject but with so many returning players to mcm's defense plus some great new recruits, word is that mcm is going to be stronger on defense and still have a potent offense.

I heard Mcmurry had at least 10k fans at their stadium, or was it 10,000 fans total for the year. Only kidding, but what are they going to do when they enter DII?

ok tigerkat and cowboyfan lets not fight. At the end when mcm wins it all with so many returning offensive players and a defense that led everything and almost all returning how can I not be wrong with mcm on top?

Kelly-my grandson played a couple games for mcm jv's only because he's playing ss behind Will, although he can play corner or linebacker, but because he wasn't getting a lot of game time behind Will they wanted him in some jv games to get more experience and not get rusty. Its funny that they won't play him somewhere else, but the coaches said they didn't want him getting hurt because thats why they drafted him to play when Will is gone. I thought it was kind of thoughtful on their behalf, rather than let him sit the pines until he starts.

I think everyone on both sides are getting to the point of defending themselves, whether it be MCM on accusations of dirty play or HSU claiming it didn't happen. My grandson plays for MCM and from what he has said it was not a dirty hit on Mullins, and they did get beat, but the punching of the 2ndd string qb did happen at the bottom of the pile, which god only knows it probably happens in all of football, part of the game. Although I am partial to MCM they played not a good game compared to how well HSU played and therefore the better team won. See you all next year.

Cowboy fan- I agree with you completely on a great game in which HSU did dominate the line, and again its part of football when someone gets hurt or a call doesn't go your way you feel you lost because of refs or whatever. Again I personally didn't pay attention to anything as far as chanting against MCM, and if they did again its part of football not anyones heritage. Lets all change the subject and take it we got beat by a better team and hopefully next year we may squeeeeeeeze by and beat them.
