Fontbonne University, St. Louis, Missouri
Overall Record: 18-9 (Conference record 14-2)
Finished first in the SLIAC and won the conference tournament to get in the NCAA's through pool A.
Starters: Bramel, Collier, Schilli, Ludwig, and April.
Top Reserves: Boyd, Wilmas, and Johnson.
Key Wins: didn't really have any big wins, biggest wins came in conference, sweeping Westminster (MO) and Webster.
Key Losses: Lost to Washington (MO) 53-96, Lost to Millikin 52-59. Worst loss game in conference to Greenville College 70-77 at Greenville.
Season Summary/Tournament outlook: Fontbonne struggled early to say the least. They played some good schools in their non-conference schedule, and they really struggled. Before Christmas, they were playing just really poor basketball, but since the New Year they have been a completely different team. They have only lost one game in 2010 (58-62 at Blackburn College on Jan. 6) and have won 14 in a row. It is still going to be tough for Fontbonne in the NCAA tournament just like it always is for teams from the SLIAC, but their coach has been there before and he will do his best to get the girls prepared for Thomas More as best he can.
