From what I saw Lynchburg hit a half court shot at the buzzer that would have won the game for them but the coach had called timeout already.

Hasanova sorry I did not mean to leave out W and L yes they could be in Div 1, or switch them and Shennandoah. To be prefectly honest you could put Macon and HSC in one Guilford and Va Wes in the other and mix and match the others as you see fit. The other scenario which I have been told will happen just makes no sense.

So I read the responses to my scheduling post and did a little research. From what I am hearing divisions (the sane solution) will not be done. They will be pairing up "natural rivals" picking one natural rival out of a hat and then the remaing 9 teams will be split into 3 teams home and away, 3 teams road, and 3 teams home. And then cycling those 3 groups thru the different groups over the course of 3 years. I am hearing that the "natural rivals" are as follows:
W and L and Roanoke
EMU and Bwater
E and H and Guilford
Macon and Sydney
Randolph and Shennandoah
Va Wes and LC

They all make sense to me except how can Randolph and LC not be natural rivals?

This system is very flawed divisions is the way to go and you can still keep natural rivals. I mean what if in this scenario LC draws Macon as their other natural rival now they are the ONLY school to have to play Va Wes and Macon twice for 3 consectutive years?

One division: Va wes, Guilford, Eand H, Randolph, LC
Two Division: Macon, Sydney, EMU, Bwater, Noke, Shennadoah

Makes sense to me but who am I?

Just out of curiosity I was checking out all of the ODAC schedules and they really need to take a look at home they schedule. Only one team plays Macon, Sydney, and Va Wes twice. Some play only 3 games while most play 4. It is time with Shenendoah coming in to go to divisions.

-Lynchburg @ Marymount (Va.)

I got Lynchburg in a close one

Lynchburg was up 41 with 5 minutes (91-50) to go and coach Scott empties his bench. Hornets win by 22 94-72.

Scottie is a Tiger, he turned his back on the Hornet Nation (well maybe Nation is an overstatement more like community!) ;D

I think the ODAC from top to bottom is what made it so strong. The bottom teams in our league faired pretty well against other conferences. The ODA top to bottom was brutal this year.

Guilford missed more free throws than Lynchburg took 15 to lynhcburg attempting 10.

LC played a whale of a game but you are right Guilford is by far the better team! But you know as well as I do in tourneys the better team doesn't alway win!

That being said I don't see CNU having much of a chance with Guilford!

Lynchburg played them within 8 Friday night and The Capts were able to take Lynchburg into OT so maybe you guys can play them tight!

Kudos to the 4 schools that got in. I would love to see 2 quarterfinal games with all ODAC teams.

What a great League it has been this year. Even the bottom half of our league owned a couple of other leagues in the area  ;)!
