Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I came across the below article the other day. I thought it was really interesting that conventional wisdom seemed to be that you couldn't be a Sabbath-observing Jew and be a college athlete (with Yeshiva as the obvious exception I'd assume), especially because there are so many DIII schools that won't play on Sundays. What are your thoughts?

Wash U's lack of a current Regional Ranking makes me nervous. Who would have thought that four losses to four ranked teams could equal a team being left out? Who were Chicago's losses to when they didn't get in but should have?

How much do you think the departure of Tim Whittle has affected Wash U? Though the team was good last year, it definitely wasn't as consistent as before. This is definitely a rebuilding year no matter how you cut it, but I wonder if Whittle leaving has had a bigger impact than initially meets the eye.

Does anyone know why Kelsey Robb isn't playing this year? I would have thought she'd have a pretty good chance of starting this year.

I would also add the Botanical Gardens as another great thing to do. And the Arch is quintessential St. Louis. Forest Park (where the Art Museum and Zoo are) is a great place to go for a walk.

As for food, Cherokee St. has great Mexican and Grand has a variety of Asian Cuisines. Basil Spice is my favorite. Kopperman's in the Central West End is also really good.

I don't think I'd consider a college sophomore to be a "young girl," but why not talk about semantics...

I've enjoyed the other preview features posted, but where are Wash U's and Rochester's?

Congrats to Wash U and Rochester!

Does anyone know what happened to Dani Hoover? I would assume she's injured, but does anyone know what the injury is?

In addition to the win, congratulations to Jaimie McFarlin for becoming the all-time leading rebounder at Wash U!
