Anytime the Red Sox get drilled is a good day.  The fact that Bobby V is their manager, is icing on the cake.

I totally agree. The NFL Panthers jersey's with the "Keep Pounding " is awsome. How are the boys from Glassboro going to look this year. You guys have a tough one out of the box. Our game is no better. Should be a fun season. In closing, the Red Sox must be happy with the Rain Gods. Looks like they won't get embarrassed tonight.  ;D

I'm not sure what Rowan is going to look like having only gone to one game last year.  My domain now redirects to the official college site.  I think I can make 3-4 games.  It will be nice to sit in the stands and enjoy the game for a change.  Pencil me in at Montclair, and hopefully the cops will leave us alone at the tailgate.  Gonna try to make opening day for DVC.

I'll see ya at tthe Train Station. Did not have any problems last year. The Kean game really blew, but that's the past. With Cathy as a Senior QB we will be OK there, and a little help on the "o" line line we may have another shot if the OC doesn't screw the pooch again. I think everyone lost a fair amount of players and especially at QB so time will tell. Could be up for grabs this year. Let's see howh we survive the MAC Challange. Good luck vs Del Val.

If I can watch some games on the web, and mix it with going to a few games... I can get a feel for the team again.  Gotta see who is back after camp.  Attrition has been a problem the past few years.  One year and gone.  Two and gone.

If Kevin did indeed make the squad than  a big time congrats are in order. ****, even if he didn't, congrats for getting the invite!

He did get a free-agent contract -- more in our story, last updated May 13.

Kevin was just released yesterday by the Colts. No reason was given, just "cut"

The probably didn't have any XSmall jerseys.

I have to admit Special Agent Utah, this is one of the funniest comments i've read in a long time.

Its right up there with tugage.

Looks like W.Conn has announced their new head Coach. He came from the OAC. Any thoughts?

Remember him when he was at Kean.  Wonder what happened to him at Otterbein, his alma mater.  He had a good season or two. Perhaps an OAC PP poster can elaborate.

Found an article:

I'll start.

Sunday sauce is on (Saturday).  House is smelling good.  Still on a quest to recreate the best sauce and meatballs JT's ever had.  JT's childhood best friend's Grandma was the old lady from Goodfellas for real, always cooking.  Unfortunately, she died with the recipes in her head.  JT's getting close.  Closer than his best friend... but still tweaking.

I apologize for posting it without acknowledging it here. It's not been the best week in the Coleman family.

No problem with me. I hope your family issues work themselves out.

JT --- nice story on the front page..  good to see you still "have it"

Thanks.  It was nice to see it again.  It was a very rewarding experience, doing the interviews and writing the article.  I'd like to have the time in the future to pitch Pat on the occasional feature.

Rodman ... ahhh, those were the days...

Indeed. But don't forget about Jags (from Wilkes), perhaps the most frequently banned poster ever.  ;D

Oh yeah...  read Jags, never responded.  Rodman had direct attacks on Dirty Jersey.  And there was this thing he had about toothless women that I never quite understood.  There was obvious humor in his posts, I don't recall him getting banned.

I know that. Read my earlier "What If" post regarding the four-way tie that would have been created if TCNJ had made their 18 yard field goal to beat Kean with a few seconds remaining in their game earlier in the season.

If TCNJ wins, yes they go.  I don't remember everything from doing the ATR East, and writing the NJAC for the pre-season D3 magazine.  I do remember talking to Terry Small (NJAC commish) about tie breakers, and FWIW I remember that the LAST tie breaker is longest title drought gets the pool A.

My notes are on an old laptop... I think... but I had the tie breaking rules for every league in the East.

On another subject ... the NJAC avoided a four-way tie for first when TCNJ missed an 18 yard field goal with seconds left against Kean earlier this year. TCNJ, Montclair, Cortland and Kean would have been tied for first – all with two losses. Wonder who would have had the honor of advancing to the playoffs under that scenario! TCNJ with losses to Cortland & Buffalo State. Montclair with losses to TCNJ & Kean. Cortland with losses to Kean and Montclair and Kean with losses to Brockport and TCNJ.

All things being equal, the NJAC's pool A bid and the NJAC title would go to the team with the longest title drought.  That team would be Kean, who last was co-champion with TCNJ in 1994.

I feel sorry for West Conn.  This year's senior class ended their college career with 4 overall wins (2 wins each in 08 & 09), and a 21 game losing streak dating back to November of 2009.  Every NJAC team this got at least 4 wins with the exception of: West Conn (0), Morrisville (1) & Brockport (3).  So even Paterson who won 4 games this year won as many games this year as the Colonials have the last 4 seasons.

Also, congrats to Kean winning the conference

Too much time at Osborne St. Pub with Rodman I guess....

Who now molds young minds as a teacher.  What a scary thought.  Although his posts were legendary. He was pretty funny.

You Bomber fans sure like to live in the past.  Butterfield looks like it did in 1958.  Quoting the last 35 years which has nothing to do with this years pitiful results and now the last three posts.  It's Tuesday and you are already pulling out the same old tired kickball comments/pictures. Booga Booga.

Don't you guys have another season to forfeit or something?

Now, now, they only forfeited the WINS. The losses, like the one we stuck them with, remain for all eternity.

True story, Cortland's 3 NCAA wins since 1999 have come vs NEFC opponents...

Way to beat up on the JV squad red dragons...
How that game against Curry in the first round work out for Ithaca in 2008?  Must really suck to lose to the JV.

I'll take reading comprehension for 100 Alex...
My typo aside, are you going to respond to why you lost to the JV in 2008 or just deflect the question?

I'll take reading comprehension for 1,000 Alex...
Repetitive responses about all you can muster?  That SJF diploma did wonders for you.

I'll bite.

Because Ithaca had their JV quarterback playing against Curry that game? (starter Juvan was hurt).

Oh wait, that JV quarterback also beat Cortland 35-13.

Oh man you were playing with one backup? Clearly the NCAA should have postponed the game until he was healthy.  You talked so much trash that year about Curry that you would think you should have beat them with the team manager playing QB. Don't go back and make excuses after the fact. Also we beat you with our 4th stringer a few years ago.

If I recall correctly, we beat you with our 4th string QB.

Hey...who knew Jimmy "Two-Times" was a Cortland grad...

I'm gonna go get the papers...get the papers...

Working in a Goodfellas reference is always worth a +k
