I know the UMAC is Pool A now, but I can't help it. The preseason rankings for Pool B would be...

1. Chapman
2. St. John Fisher
3. College of Staten Island
4. LaGrange

In region records of Pool B teams that are over .600 (both in and out of region) and have played more than 7 games (full record in parentheses)....

Chapman(17-4)              13   1   0.929
Bethany Lutheran(9-3)   8   2   0.800
Huntingdon(22-5)         15   4   0.789
St. Scholastica(13-3)           6   2   0.750
Maryville(13-6)               13   5   0.722
WashU(14-8)             14   8   0.636

Barring a huge improvement in region from perennial power house Ithaca(0-0),(2-8) or outstanding play by a CUNY school (either CSI(5-2),(8-5) or CCNY(7-3),(8-6) look like possible contenders now) I'd say these are the six you'll see fight it to the finish. Should be fun to watch.

Yeah I'd agree, but I think the CUNY schools have no shot. Maybe Emory or Case are more likely.

Something like...
1. Chapman
2. CSS
3. Huntingdon
4. Bethany Lutheran
5. Maryville
6. WashU
7. Case
8. Emory

Has the second game started? And, is the audio broadcast working for anyone?

Central Region / Re: BB: Central Region Rankings
March 22, 2010, 11:04:16 AM
I know this is a little out of my region but...

1. Carthage (7-4)- Obviously much better than their record
2. Augustana (11-0)- 11 in a row (with wins against good teams)? Maybe deserving of 1
3. Wheaton (8-3)- CCIW by far the best conference in the central

BIG GAP

4. Beloit (5-3)- No one wants this spot.
5. Il. Wesleyan (4-5)- They'll improve their record quickly
6. WashU (9-6)- 12 games this week?! I'll leave them here and see how they handle that schedule.
7. Coe (6-4)- I guess their the best in the IIAC?
8. Central (9-4)- unless they are?
9. Ripon (6-4)- They'll challenge Beloit more than St. Norbert
10. North Park (7-2)- Let's see how they do in the CCIW

At least one of those teams would have to be in the Central Regional, probably 2, given how weak that region has been the past few years. Whitewater and Carthage were in the central last year.
