If Wisconsin-osh Kosh can put those kinds of points and yardage against Mount- I would hope ONU can be a little better and get into an old fashion shoot out with them this year. Very encouraging for the Bears. Especially matching up their secondary with Mounts WR core. Could this be the year (again!).

I like ONU and I really like the QB at Capital. Every year someone talks about is this the year someone is going to get Mount. ONU is in the top ten in the country. On paper they are loaded. So I just feel this is the year they get Mount.

I am pretty sure how talented this ONU team is that they will be able to handle OTT- then unleash on Mount. When you have the BEST QB and RB in the conference ( maybe the RB from Cap is close) the Raiders should be ready. ONU has gotten them before.

I looked up ONU opponents record. They have not won more than 3 games in a season in a long time. Looks like opening week for the Bears is a gimmie. Time to play some JV late.

OTT to stay in third? They have finished 2nd in the conference the last two years but with Northern having what looks like their best team ever possibly- they definitely need help.
Nothing wrong with a couple transfers- if I recall the entire Capital backfield in the Pentello era was transfers: Rocky, Mulky, Charlie Smith, Lewis Howes, Derrick Alexander, their big MLB, the Smith kid just to name a few.

I agree the OTT guys looked bad- I thought the MTU guys were equally as bad leaving their sideline and charging to the midfield logo just before kickoff to escalate things.
You definately don't want to stir that pot.

He was talking about two years ago when Mount visited OTT. The Otterbein guys went to their own 50 yardline when they took the field prior to kickoff and looked to the mount sideline and hollered and challenged them. Some of the Mount guys ran out to midfield and a little stare down took place. I never understood why the OTT guys have taken so much grief on here though. It was the Mount guys that left their sidelines and met the OTT guys at midfield. I remember it clearly. OTT was not smart challenging them- but the Mount guys met them at midfield.

By Week 3 they will be #3 and Mount #1 or #2.
Look out Raiders- We all know the Polar Bear Express is the last to take it to Mount.

Polar Bear Express is rumbling towards a showdown with The University of Mount Union
This is potentially the best Northern Team in the history of the school. I believe the best team in the history of a school has to have a chance to beat a reloading Mount team.

With Simmons (the best QB in maybe the country) and Donnally back (maybe the best back in the country) I think ONU may be the best team in the country. #1 overall.
Same with Capital- With Assman and the RB back Wesley is in trouble.
Could the Raiders go 7-2 in the conference?
