So are those players mentioned as criminals being allowed to play saturday? I think that's a little unfair for criminals to play since this isn't the NFL now.

well i think talking about the ranking of brackets and all that stuff is nice, but since when did the actual ranking of brackets come into play? the last couple years when i played we were always told bracket rankings never were in effect. also playing NCC will be something else if either team gets to that point, but until either team makes it to the 1/4 finals i wouldn't even worry about it. the way i see it is uww is the team to still beat regardless where they r in the bracket or playoffs, they're #1 and defending champs.
So just take it as it is and let the guys play ball. I no they will be ready and if they lose when they're ready then so be it, if it's another purple vs. purple stagg so be it.

it has been awhile since i've been on here. my hs team is currently 8-1 and we have a playoff game this tuesday against Kenosha Tremper. So this will hopefully be a good game that when it's all said and done we come w/a win, if not i'm hoping to come to a hopefully crowd packed Homecoming game otherwise.
Ne comments on how we think the teams will fair this wk regarding the HC game?

The things from what I overheard with Cory Robinson is he didn't get along with the new QB coach and they basically cut him through the practices. I am not totally sure, but it was an overheard conversation with Cory walking out of the SAC angry.

August 31, 2010, 11:27:16 PMInterested to see Demetrius Jackson on their O-Line (6'4", 335lbs

I remember last year against an NAIA team (midland lutheran, i think), where they had some big boys on the o-line, but that game got out of reach in a hurry.

Those two were the heavy loaders. I personally had to try and just hold ground against the two of them almost every play that was by far the worst feeling ever knowing ur getting laid on by a 400 pound man.

I agree who is going to be the first team to step up and give the Raiders a scare. I think the same for UWW. Wittenberg and Linfield put the scares on us last year first. So who's going to be the first do it to each of the 2 big teams this year?

One simple question---Is there anyone on this board that is not a whitewater fan? How are the other teams in the conference looking? What do you think are the good and bad things about your teams?
I think every one should take there shot at UW-Whitewater and dethrone the Monster that is backed by BIG MONEY! Without money, it is hard to create a great program!!!!
GO WIAC miinus the Big Money Monster UWW!!!!
The thing is with BIG MONEY, from my playing experience where is all this big money coming from? The 4 years I was on the team we had to earn everything that we got "BIG MONEY" wise. So the reason the warhawks have all their success is because of "BIG MONEY" what about the big supporters of the program and the alumni who donate money just like they do at every other school in the United States? Hands down the alumni are what make the facilities what they are at WW.

I had seen Mr. Lorenzo in the SAC over the summer time. He looks like a good specimen of an athlete. We will soon find out this year. He also had a younger brother who played WR I think with him that also transferred to WW.

That could be a great tactical advantage going into each game knowing that the other team's offense will have to keep the score up w/the warhawks this coming season if that's the case

If the team can stay injury and dilemma free this season, there's a very good chance they can repeat and have a great year and special year again. They have all the talent in the world and the team seems to just get better each year. The offense with the line in particular just keeps getting better and it doesn't even matter who is playing on it that allows to be great. So Blanch and the RB's should have a great year with the front 5 and couple TE's that play to have a great season again.

I was coaching in the spring and Steve Morris ended up turning into the amazing receiver corp we have. He was asked to move so if he's still on the team he's at WR

Well the scholarship issue is the fact that athletes have either very good times at their schools or something internal is going on where the kid wants to leave. So what if they have it I just was asking for purposes unknown to a lot of people. People just throw out there that Mount has been doing that for years and I was just wondering really, cuz at WW we did have a lot of transfers year in and year out that were scholarship players. Is that a crime that schools do that? D-1 does it all the time, so I think a school that brings players in and plays by the rules regardless of where they started shouldn't matter.

The games aren't that boring are they? They tend to be close minus the one year the score 35-14 or whatever it was. The people get tired of seeing it sometimes, but when it comes down to it the games are usually fairly close and evenly matched IMHO
