Former UW-Riverfalls Star Rich Melzer wins NBA D-League Championship with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds.  Congrats to the man, I can see him making a NBA team next year.   Good job Melzer.    8)

This was the first time I've seen Point use their bench, with such consistency.  This was a good job by the coaching staff.  Rortvedt is the best catch & shoot, shooter I've seen in the WIAC, but he needs to get more plays coming of screens.  He is such a weapon to have.  And bad defense by Platville for leaving him opening so many times....His was hot, I think somebody should guard him.  And the referring at the game was terrible on both ends of the court.  The refs, were inconsistent with their calls and made alot of bad calls.  But all in all, it was a good game.  One questions I want to throw out there, Nick bennet or Pete Rortvedt for 3?
