The QB you saw at Montclair is the future of the program, he was a stud at Walington, transfered to DePaul, won a state championship and was a preferred walk on at the University of Pittsburgh, I think his dad played in the NFL and brother plays at Army. That said, he's a young transfer, with the height, size, smarts and a big arm, MSU had one scrimmage and a few weeks of camp so there will be a learning curve, he threw a 45 yard gem that was dropped for what would have been an easy TD. In addition, our beloved Coach O'Conner retired last year, we do have a new offensive coordinator, once again little bit of a learning curve for the returners. In my opinion MSU needed a game like this to see who is going to step up when their back is against the wall and to force them to play as a team, which they ended up doing. There is much talent, young talent on the both sides of the ball, if they can come together, MSU will be able to compete next week....PS our RB is an absolute stud, he had over 300 all purpose yards last night, should be considered for offensive player of the week

Sour grapes on my end, tough pill to swallow, we beat Rowan head up with that huge o line and all, they get the AQ for effing point differential in the first half.

So Rowan loses to TCNJ and we put 40 on Kean, who goes to the dance? I thought it was Rowan but that's not what it said today on the d3football.com predictions page

This was posted in the article for the predictions page, so if Rowan loses we are in? and MoVille would need two 2-7 team to win? Who is the other 2-7 team?

Can someone explain this to me, am I reading this correctly? I was under the impression that Montclair would not be in a position to get an automatic bid, but I just read that if TCNJ beast Rowan we get the bid?

"Because it held first-half leads in a 31-0 win over Morrisville State and a 20-16 loss to Montclair State, the two teams it is tied with atop the conference, Rowan is playoff-bound with any kind of win Friday. With a loss, Montclair would need only beat 2-7 Kean to get in. Morrisville State, 8-2 and off this week, needs two 2-7 teams to pull upsets to receive the automatic bid"

Bombers, thank you! Now can anyone explain to me what (if even remotely possible) has to happen for Montclair State University to get the NJAC title and auto bid.

I'm not a coach, I played at MSU, and am now just a supporter of my alum and former coaches.  I have no clue how this works, both times I made the playoffs at MSU, 01 was an at large bid and 03 we won the NJAC. I am just trying to figure out if A there is anyway possible MSU can get the automatic bid and B if that's not the case what would have to happen for them to be considered for an A large bid.

Still don't understand the Framingham situation....It is what it is, they had a chance to win, they didn't, all MSU can do is beat Kean soundly and pray for some upsets...

I heard it has something to do with the point deferential in the first half of when the teams played each other? I don't understand any of this, I have another question, let's say MSU doesn't get the automatic bid for the conf, what would have to happen to get an at large bid, how many teams would have to lose this weekend, does a two loss team get in out of the NJAC?  :-\

can someone explain how this works. MSU loses to Del Val (undefeated team) so I imagine that bodes well for strength of schedule. Rowan beats Moville by 35, we beat Rowan and lose to Moville. 3 way tie, who gets the bid?
