One word for your day...

Loser.

You figure it out how to apply it.

Now...if you don't think that some of those 219 yards set up touchdowns, keep thinking it...and your word for the day:

LOSER.

3 completions for 16, 16, and 29 yards on a drive leading to a field goal.

1 completion for 11 yards on a second drive leading to a field goal.

1 completion for 13 yards on a third drive leading to a field goal.

1 completion for 34 yards on a fourth drive leading to a touchdown.

1 completion for 14 yards on a fifth drive leading to a touchdown.

2 completions for 14 and 29 yards on a sixth drive leading to a touchdown.

1 completion for 14 yards on a seventh drive leading to a touchdown.

So...let's recap for those who may be slower.  10 of Martin's catches came on each of W&L's scoring drives...there wasn't a scoring drive where they didn't have at least one completion to Martin.

Loser.

Loser?  :D

My teams 3 conference championships say differently. I asked a simple question, nothing more. Yes, the kid had a great game. My point, which I thought was clear, is that W&L will need to do more than score field goals to beat B.C.
So lets put this in terms that people understand 6 points is more than 3 points. 6 points will demoralize a team and put a team away.

W&L may be a more improved team, but field goals won't beat B.C. Furthermore, everybody is talkin about the Martin Kid, but how does someone make12 catches for 219 and NO TOUCHDOWNS???? I am not taking away from the kids effort, but I will take the points over the stats any day.
In regards to the BC defense, they are better than people think.

The Richmond Times Dispatch put out their football preview today. My guess is that their D-III writer has never seen B.C. play. So I am a little miffed as to why he picked H-SC to win the conference. Even though the coaches picked B.C. to finish 1st, again. Favret is quoted as saying his team "can be a real dangerous team on the national level" and "can play close to Christmas". Wow!
