banfan, it's the EEEphs (rhymes with beefs), in honor of the school founder Ephraim Williams. Sometimes also known as the Purple Cows. Not the F's.

Banfan, you are killing me with these "Willies" references. We're the EPHS! Please. Anything other than the Willies.
Agreed that Trinity-Amherst will be the game of the year. I'm planning to be there. Williams seems to have gotten its act together a bit since the Trinity game; I am hoping the Ephs can push Amherst hard in the last game.

Weather was not an issue at Trinity.

Yeah I wouldn't blame the Williams loss on injuries. Trinity had a couple of injuries too, that's just part of the game. (And I'd note that the substitute QB was far more effective than the starter). The Williams kicking game is an issue. What's with punting on third down twice in the game? Bottom line, while Williams made it more of a game in the second half (they were very lucky not to be down by more than 7-0 at the half), Trinity won this game - their soph QB was effective (and also quite a punter) and their defense came up with the plays when needed. Congrats to the Bantams. I look forward to seeing more of Marske at QB.

Amh63, further to your NESCAC trivia, Mark Murphy was at the game in Amherst last Saturday.
