Region 10 women's basketball / Re: Northwest Conference
January 14, 2015, 03:04:27 PM
I don't think the UAA has played many Tournament games against their own conference.  The Northwest Conference every year is placed into the same pool. Last year the NCAA placed three of the Northwest Conference teams into the same opening round group of four.  So the winning percentage numbers are not very telling as the Northwest Conference knocks out their own each year while the UAA rarely plays against their own until late in the tournament.

dahlby,

You have the incorrect information on UC Santa Cruz.  You must be looking at last years schedule.  They are currently 10-4 overall against only D3 competition.  They are 7-4 in region and have 5 D3 regional games remaining.  2 of their four losses came from ranked teams and they just beat the 17th ranked Emmanuel college on Sunday by 18.  Pat has listed the correct information in his post...

I used the week 1 regional rankings from last week for each teams D3 regional records.  (You can find them on this website under the News tab-regional rankings.)  They have Rust listed at 4-7 for D3 in region games.

Looks like St. Joseph's is the front runner...
