In comparing the MIAC to the WIAC I wouldn't put much stock in GAC's defeat of UWRF as that was UWRF's first game of the year and GAC's second so GAC had a little bit more idea what their players could do and their rotation.  What I would look at it UWRF went up to Concordia-MN over Christmas and beat them while UWRF lost to UWSP all three times they played them by about 10.  Using that as a basis I would think UWSP will be coming away with the win.

So, who gets into the tournament?  My guess is for sure UWSP, pretty sure UWW, and I think UWL would have a pretty good shot on the strength of them being ranked 4th in the last Central Region rankings.  That would be a lot of WIAC teams making it, though.

I'm new here but had to respond to what Billy said about Dana Thompson.  I've only seen her play a couple of times but you can tell she's constantly looking for calls.  She's the exact opposite of what he said, she looks like she's getting hit when she's not.  And the stats back up what I am saying, she's shot 186 free throws and after Mesick with 166 no one else is even close.  She'll release the ball low into her defender's arms, flail her own arms, get that grimace on her face, and more times than not she get the ref's to give the call.  By contrast, Frank has only shot 77 free throws on about the same number of shots (actually more, 251-237).  It should be an interesting matchup tonight, wish I could be there to watch it.
