Anyone have an update on former UWP cornerback Ryan McWethy in camp with Cleveland? I couldn't find any updates.
Looks like Jasper Collins (UMU) was waived by Miami based on an undisclosed injury.
Eric Rogers of Cal Luteran has been turning heads at Dallas.
Can't find an update on Nick Driskill of UMU...looks like he wasn't signed after rookie camp.

I think UWP is most liking the Oshkosh of next year they lose two offensive linemen who were hurt all year, one receiver and they get Anderson and Vlask back due to medical redshirts. One defense they lose 5 starters and 3 all conference players in snyder, mcwethy, and marks so that should hurt a little bit more. But they only have 12 seniors on there roster as it is so they are young still. Also how does everyone feel about UWP's chances for get an at large bid? They got some help this weekend and they are the 2nd place team in the best conference in the nation. Would be nice to get 2 WIAC schools in and they are rolling now it seems like.

Unfortunately for 21 of the Pioneers' points, UWEC allowed UWP a very short field by committing errors on two kick returns (fumbles within the 15 one a turn over the other a 3 and out) and another "fumble" on a punt. Although that "fumble" on the punt it's very questionable as it appeared the Blugold player may not have actually touched the ball. But he was close enough for the refs to say he did....so it doesn't matter.
So 21 points were the result of special teams miscues. Take those points off the board and it was a much closer game.
UWP runs a solid short passing game, with one or two large wide outs blocking on bubble screens. As for the stadium...it is very nice, as most of you know. Great contingent of students but still quiet. They used the big board to solicit cheering but didn't engage the crowd. Of course with such a big advantage in the score, well that could've been the reason for the disengagement of the fans. Always fun to watch college football on a beautiful clear night at a fun stadium. Go Blugolds ...and still cheering For the "Normalites".

Talk about your pickem spreads for Osh @ Platt...MIAC has Platt +7.5, OAC has Osh +6.5. That sounds like no clear-cut favorite. If the WIAC had spreads, what kind of points would you set, 02 Warhawk?
Oh man....I have a hard enough time finding non-conference games for our pickems.
*Maybe something along the lines of:
Stout @ Whitewater -34.5
Eau Claire @ La Crosse +6
River Falls @ Stevens Point -4.5
Oshkosh @ Platteville +10
No way I think Patteville is the favorite like the OAC has it...sorry Mr_Mom. UWO is playing too good and UWP is banged up, however maybe the bye week healed some key injuries.
*Spreads are subject to be WAY off.
UWP should have just about everyone back; all that were injured have had 3 weeks to heal. I like UWP's chances if they have everyone back and it being their homecoming.
I remember watching the televised replay of the UWW game, and the announcer mentioned something like they had 10 starters (or at least contributors) out for that game. Which is crazy!
I would like to see Anderson if action and give Oshkosh a run for their money.

Blanchard 13-18 144 1 TD 1 INT on a tipped ball in the end zone on the Warhawks first possession 2nd and
I'm not sure but Blanchard may have been more like 15-20 with 166 yards. The official stats had Rosholt going 2-2 for 22 yards. I didn't notice Rosholt, the punter, throwing any passes.
I have to give Platteville some credit. They kept going for first downs on fourth down though they ended up 0-4. That was a significant momentum thing for the WARHAWKS. The best one was when we stuffed them twice on 3rd and 4th and a couple of inches to go.
It definitely helped that Nick Anderson was unable to play. Overall their quarterbacks were more of a running threat than passing and Anderson would definitely made them more difficult to defend. I hope he's able to get back on the field at some point. They need him.

"Leading the rushing attack is junior Lee Vlasic. Vlasic has averaged 71.5 yards per game rushing, but only 3.2 yards per carry ". I was at the UWP/UWL game and he was getting hit deep in the backfield the majority of the time, and from talking to UWP fans that has been the case all year, he has had little help from the line and will most likely continue tomorrow. Judging from UWP last year he is a big play back that can break one at anytime if his line can stop a defensive line surge and help him get to the second level.
Although in some ways a question mark coming into the season, the defensive line at UW-W has been off to a strong start. I think much still needs to be proven because larger WIAC tests lie ahead. But if Platteville's line is subpar, tomorrow could potentially be a long day for the Pioneers. Becoming one dimensional is a nightmare against the Warhawks.
Thanks for your response. Do you or any of your UW-P following friends know what's up with Anderson and Blaser. Are they out for sure tomorrow as the two deep would indicate? Do you know how long they could be out? Many here are expecting/hoping for a nice year for UW-P this year. Those losses could really hurt in a conference like the WIAC.
