Hey Spurrier, where did Sparty play last week? Oh, you played but were embarrassed. Beating Wartburg twice in 10 years isn't really a new sheriff in town. Lets just quote Stan, " it isn't much of a rivalry unless the other team every other time". I'll take a 9-1 year as a down year anytime.

Not sure if I would say there is a new sheriff in town just yet, and in regards to attendance numbers, not sure how they come up with them but I disagree with any poster who says Wartburg didn't travel well. Many times had more than most of the home teams that we played. My son graduated last year, and every game we went to in the IIAC we had more fans. Now I will say that the Tommies and Johnny's travel extremely well.

I've been to every game this year, it seems that the offense is struggling to find an identity. There really is no flow or rythm at all. It doesn't help that alot of the recievers are banged up. So I say, have a bloody mary, some ribs and sit back and hope the Knights run the ball, and control the clock. Its our only hope.
