You should be more concerned that there is an ex-CLU placekicker who's going around claiming that he was a football player.
OxyBob
I believe that would be me, thanks to Kingsmen4 for the back up.

Normally when ALL AMERICAN follows your name you don't have concerns with those claims.
Funny coming from someone that used to post regularly about the famed Oxy punters. But hey who is counting?
-Go LU
Wow, 70 pts OB?

Waiting to see ESPN News announce Redlands coming back to "Mt Clef 2.0" - Kingsmen4

Most likely...and as a Linfield fan, I'm sick of CLU (and a little nervous having watched them improve as the season has progressed)....

As a CLU fan, I too am sick of Linfield, mainly the trip up to Boregon. Althought it would be another test for us against a very strong opponent, I feel both sides want to see some new faces across the field.
Or convince the NCAA to give CLU the home game, Thousand Oaks is a lot nicer that time of year than McMinnville.
Good Homecoming victory for the Kingsmen, and congrats to CLU Senior OL Gio Lapp for his first career rushing touchdown.

2. Cal Lu - is nice, but kinda has that squeezed in, cracker box feel.
This was done on purpose to provide the intimate atmosphere of the old Mt. Clef Stadium. With the absence of a track, the fans are a lot closer to the game providing a unique spectating experience. I do agree it could have been a bit bigger. Hopefully it will help once the permanent visiting stands have been put in, although Homecoming, Redlands game and potential playoff games will always be standing room only.

I was just looking at the box scores for the SCIAC games yesterday and it is pretty sad that 3 of the 4 games had under 1,000 people.
Oxy at P-P= 747
Whittier at Chap= 3132
Redlands at Claremont= 512
Cal Lu at ULV= 827
That is an average of 1,304 fans per game, but if you take out the Whittier/Chapman game it is 695 fans. That is just plain sad. Any high school game in the world will get more that that and it sucks to see the # 15 team in the nation play in front of 512 fans and the #13 team play in front of 827.
Played two times at Claremont and once at Pomona, both places feel like graveyards. Definitely hard venues to play at because of the lack of energy in the air. It really helped having a strong traveling fan base at the Lu, I know Redlands fans travel well too.

Since McEnroe became the head coach at CLU, the Kingsmen have outscored the Leopards of La Verne 176-51. Should be looking for something similar to last weeks Poet crushing, although they took one from Oxy last week. Going to be interesting to see how the Tigers bounce back this week against Pomona and the "nation's leading rusher."

Saturday's games should be pretty easy to predict except for Chapman vs. CMS. Gonna be interesting to see if CMS can continue it's campaign to be part of the "Big 4" as they said before their matchup with the LU last year. (CLU 41 CMS 14)
CLU vs Whittier: Whittier throws the ball A LOT. Should be fun watching their receivers battle two lockdown corners in Villavicencio and Haulcy-Bateman. Coming over the middle shouldn't be too fun either with Galbreth laying bricks. Whittier also did a bit of talking in the offseason, bulletin board material. Prediction 38-10 CLU
Redlands and Oxy both win handily.

You'll see him (Chambers) in the slot and as a returner more than RB, Danny Mosier is the starting RB for CLU this year.

Hey everyone,
Just joined the boards and wanted to wish everyone a healthy 2011 season. Saturday night at the LU was pretty crazy, definitely had some doubts headed into half time. Hard fought game by both teams, but a very long bus ride home for the puppies.
In other news, this is a pretty bold statement when CLU has the First Team All SCIAC RB not even getting the majority of the carries. Plus, Sweeny ran for 74 on 20 carries against the LU last year while Deme'Trek Chambers ran for 131 and 2 TDs.

Pomona is plucky, and Sweeney is probably the top back in the SCIAC,....
