A St. John Fisher fan here, enlighten me about Hopkins. What can we look forward to next SatErday?
You can expect a lot of passing supported by a good running attack. Offensively, the team has a lot of weapons and doesn't rely on a single playmaker. The QB is the focal point, and if he gets time to throw, he's tough to beat. Defensively, the DL sets the tone- they will pressure the QB. This past week, they knocked the 1st and 2nd team QBs out of the game.
As a previous poster noted, to beat Hopkins, it needs to be done with a ball control offense. Mediocre teams played Hopkins close the last 2 games of the year. One did it through ball control (40 min TOP), the other via 6 Hopkins turnovers. Don't expect the turnovers to continue, they made very few during the season. Remains to be seen if the Blue Jays were caught looking ahead since they clinched 2 weeks ago - although they were playing for the team's first undefeated season in history.
What's the story with St. John Fisher? What can Hopkins expect?
