Quote from: El Hombre on May 18, 2012, 06:25:04 PMI know that Janssen got hurt. A friend of mine from Concordia retweeted one of Collin's tweets and his left hand looks like a blown up surgical glove. Rodriguez didn't appear in any games, so he could be hurt or grades maybe?Quote from: Ralph Turner on May 18, 2012, 03:26:14 PMQuote from: BamColt on May 18, 2012, 01:58:00 PMThey are not in the line-up today against Whitworth.
That 5 run inning hurt. If Jansen and Rodriquez are out then you can pretty much schedule the flight home to Austin earlier than anticipated.

Does anyone have any insight on why? Are they both hurt?

Does anyone know what happened to Kyle Rodriguez and Collin Janssen for CTX? Neither are playing right now. Rodriguez didn't play the first game either, but Janssen must have gotten hurt. That would be horrible for CTX.

April 21, 2012, 12:21:15 AMQuote from: Ricky Nelson on April 21, 2012, 12:03:53 AMThat would be a good way to describe Orosey tonight (he walked 6), however he did seem to have that extra something that allowed him to bear down when he got in trouble. Concordia had some chances, but couldn't come through with the hits, not to mention TLU made some really good plays in the field.Quote from: tigerfan_2001 on April 20, 2012, 10:43:26 PMWatched online, so I'll leave it to others who were there. But my observation was that he was effectively wild.
TLU beats Concordia 1-0. No box score or stats, but sounds like Orsey was on tonight.
Good feed and fantastic facility, by the way.
To be honest, Scott Hays may have pitched a better game. He gave up one unearned run and struck out 9. Both pitchers went the distance.

April 18, 2012, 12:16:53 PMQuote from: BamColt on April 17, 2012, 10:51:02 AMI don't believe he is hurt, he has just had some ups and downs. He was never really a starter, except for in tournaments, but he did have the look of a guy who might be at one point. Hays, Grygar, and Butschek have taken control of the rotation and to be honest the process of STARTER-->SPELBRING-->ULLMANN-->BALLGAME has been pretty effective. Rupert is another guy who has made it very difficult for Weinschenk to get back into the rotation.
Anyone know if Scott Weinschenk is hurt for Concordia. He was the #2 going into the season and was pitching very well. I noticed a month or so ago he disappeared in the Box scores. I know Tyler Grygar has stepped in and done a hell of job, but that is huge is Weinschenk is not in the rotation going forward.
