Congratulations FDU. Total team effort and great coaching by Mitchell and his staff. One for NJ, finally. :)  Amazing finish to an amazing season.

Congratulations to FDU. Heck of a defensive game for both teams, the difference Ms. Dayon.  Best of Luck tomorrow in the final.

Congratulations to FDU and Mr. Bill :) on their well earned trip to the final 4.   Another dominant effort in the second half lead to a comfortable win.   Best of luck vs Tuff's.

Congratulations to FDU on a well earned victory over Messiah.   The Falcons gave them a run but FDU IMHO won the game with a 7-0 run to tie it at halftime. The Falcons had them on the ropes but just could not maintain their momentum due to a monster game from  FDU sophomore Shalette Brown.   Thank you Messiah seniors for an excellent season.  Best of luck to FDU in the tournament.

I am stunned. Messiah totally dominates Randolph-Macon, wins by 29.  Hopefully they can keep it going.  Congrats Falcons on your best effort of the season.  It was an entire team effort and a pleasure to watch. Should be a very interesting test for FDU (would be shocked if they are not in the final).

Again Falcons one heck of a game.

Thank you LVC for the exceptional video coverage of the final. The announcers were excellent as was the feed.  It was not pretty but the Falcons outlasted LVC in a defensive struggle.  I honestly hope LVC gets an at-large bid.  Congrats to the Falcons for gutting out a hard earned victory. Good Luck to both teams.  Tried to watch/listen to the Scranton/Moravian final  but gave up as the feed, audio and Live Stat links were not very user friendly.  Also congrats to FDU on a outstanding season and hopefully hosting a few rounds.

Warren,

I believe it is 14 years. Started in 1999.  Dang, I aged. ;D  Whomever wins the LVC/Messiah matchup best of the luck in the NCAA's. Hopefully the winner does not run into Thomas Moore in the 1st or 2nd round. That team is unreal and Miss. Moss is most certainly the DIV 3 players of the year. If she is not there is something wrong with the voting system ;). The only negative going against her, she is a sophomore  :o

Bill,

Commonwealth lurker here as I am a Messiah fan.  Have not posted in a while but still read the threads.  Falcons having a so-so year based upon past standards.  2 wins in the conference tournament would change that dramatically.  It will be a difficult task to get by Elizabethtown and then most likely  LVC on their home courts.  If the Falcons play up to their potential they should be competitive and could very well squeeze out a few more W's. If not, their string of NCAA appearances most likely will end.  Good Luck to FDU in the tourney as I am a NJ resident. :)

Just noticed that Messiah's Katelyn Vanderhoff will be returning for the Falcons as she was granted a medical hardship due to last seasons injury (play sparingly in 3 games).  6 seniors graduated from last years team so this is very good news for Falcon fans as Miss Vanderhoff is an exceptional player.

Congratulations to Widener.  The better team got the Win.  Heck of a defensive effort by the Pride shutting down Messiah.  Best of luck against Amherst.  Widener seems to be playing their best ball of the season. Hopefully it continues.

Warren,

I agree LBC & WP are no Baruch or Montclair. Luck of the draw I suppose.  Hopefully Messiah can take advantange. To be honest not sure if the Falcons would fair any better than Widener or LVC against Montclair.  I am certain they would like  to give it a shot.  Hopefully Messiah can get by a peaking Widener team and give a good account of themselves against the NESCAC rep. No easy task for either the Pride or Falcons.  Pulling for the MAC rep no matter who wins but would prefer to see Messiah take the rubber match and continue their season.  Have a nice day.

Congratulations to Messiah & Widener for extending their seasons. Also congrats to LVC for a nice win over Baruch. Luck of the draw had them face undefeated Montclair and a bad first half did them in. Montclair sure looks like a final four team or better. It is going to take some effort to derail that buzzsaw.  Again congrats to the MAC teams that made the tournament.   Whomever advances  from the Widener/Messiah rematch is going to have their hands full facing Amherst or Tuffs.  I am hoping Messiah gets the chance.  No matter what happens it was an excellent year for the MAC on both sides of the conference as FDU had a heck of a season also.

Ronk,

I believe Ms. Vanderhoff is injured but I do not know to what extent. Hopefully a Messiah faithfull with up to date information could share more on her status.

Thank You
