Knowing what my son and his friends are going through and hearing the struggles of others make me wish I had never heard of Guilford College.

I think alot of the players are very upset about the QB leaving. Sounds as if he got railroaded. Doesn't make me feel good as a parent.

ECU you were right. Talked to my son last night. The QB from last year did quit the team. My son said that all the players really looked up to him.

Thanks. After listening to my son and his teammates, I do have some serious concerns about the leadership. It sounds like there is a serious morale problem on the team.

My husband and I suggested that he talk to his coach but he just felt that would make things worse. I'm not even sure what he means by that. One of the other kids that ate with us after the game also said that would be a bad idea.

My son is a freshman at Guilford and plays football. We were so excited because he has gotten to play in the first two games. We took him and a couple of his teammates out to dinner after the game. What he said broke my heart. He asked me and my husband if we would be mad at him if he quit playing football. Of course I said That I wouldn't be mad but I cried all the way home. It was really hard for us financially to send him there but he was so excited about playing college football. He just loved his coaches in high school in football and baseball. He just said he hated it and I don't understand. My husband would be furious if he knew I was doing this but do any parents have any advice.
