Watched the UMHB game this weekend and I can say that not what I thought would happen. I thought talent wise TLU was solid and with the knowledge of how UMHB works (the former players and coaches on that staff) that it would have been a little bit closer game. But that's why the games are played. After seeing UMHBs A game any thought on the HSU match up? Has anyone seen HSU? They are 5-1 and 2-0 in conference.

Thanks everyone. Very insightful, since I didn't know much about the other two teams.

Hadn't been able to get on in awhile. Good to see the boards are alive and kicking. I have been keeping up with the Cru and they look like they are improving. Hopefully the bye week does them some good. It would be nice to see them follow up the Kean beat down with another blow out this week at  Sul Ross. I will for keep my eyes open for the ETBU and TLU games, as they are playing well. Go Cru!

Hey Ralph I was just wondering why do you have TLU and Guilford below H-SC? I am familiar with TLU but not the other 2 schools. Can you give me some insight?

Thanks Ron. My thoughts exactly Toby.

So anyone know what was the point of McMurry leaving only to rejoin? Is there something to this story that I don't know? Any light that can be shed on the situation would be appreciated.

Great season Cru! It ended 1 week too soon... I had a lot of respect for Coach Fred and still do. Tough spot to be in for a coach for sure. We have to learn from this loss like we have done from losses in the past and take our play to another level. Can't wait for next season.

Cool. I hope she sees the message and lets her son know he's respected all the way down here in Texas.

Talking about these great Linebackers. I played for UMHB. I played against, well watched because I also played defense,  A.J. Raebel. Dude could play. I remember hearing about him having cancer. Does anyone know how is doing? Talk about earning your respect. He was a monster and a half.

So you mean to tell me that should not have been the Stagg Bowl. That is the reason why you dont play #1 vs #2 in the semis. Hopefully St. Thomas can put on a better show. Otherwise it will be a complete let down. Thanks again NCAA.

I read the "TT" article and it does sound like he is a little jealous. All I can say is the umhb program has worjed as hard as anyone to get to where they are. It was time for new upgrades. while I was there we would fit 200 players in locker room meant for 150ish. There would be 2 guys to a locker at times. It was a much needed upgrade. No offense to Belton HS, but I hated "their" turf. Nothing motivates a team like being dissrespected or in the case of the new field giving them a home to "protect". Now having said that the commentment is to the school overall and not just athletics. What I took from the article is that Coach Dunn was glad the president got to see first hand what its going to take to be successful on the national level. Great season LC, facillities or not. I think there is something to be said about a program that wins before all the bells and whistles. Cant wait for another game against you guys.
