December 15, 2017, 10:05:00 AMQuote from: MANDGSU on December 14, 2017, 09:34:04 AMThe punting team should always have the option of taking the ball at the spot of the first touch by the receiving team in that situation...not sure why Brockport didn't take that option. I think that the officials messed that one up.
Just listened to the podcast, I was thinking that if a returner muff's a punt inside the twenty and into the endzone, I think if it declared a touchback, the ball should only be advanced to the initial muffed spot or ruled a safety.

Unitas never completed 60% of his passes in a season. Brady has never completed less than 60% of his passes in a season.
Brady has 456 TDs to 152 INTs, Unitas had 290 TDs to 253 INTs.
Love Johnny U, but it's not even close.

The rule is 3 yards...supposed to be strictly enforced in 2016, but it has been an issue at all levels this fall.

Curry always had a full-time coach whose other title was usually something like "director of football operations" during Skip's part-time years. I think that position essentially still exists, and I believe their current DC is full-time.

Hamilton sent out a list of 2015 HS recruits to alums...31 total from 10 states (13 from NY, 7 from MA). Also mentions some transfers that are not yet finalized...I think this is why Murray was brought on board, and it looks like the school is supporting his efforts. The focus was clearly up front (6 OL and 6 DL) and on speed (7 RBs!)...they also picked up TWO 6'7" 220lb TEs! Things are certainly happening in Clinton!

Not punishing MIT and WNE for winning, but rewarding Endicott for performing equally within the conference against teams that have better records...strange but true if that's really how the tiebreaker works.

Endicott would win the tiebreaker because MIT and WNE would each have Endicott's 7-3 record in addition to the other team's 9-1 record considered in their "conference opponent's winning percentage." Endicott would have MIT and WNE's 9-1 records considered in their's. The other five conference members would count the same for each of the three tied teams.

All postgrad teams like Bridgton Academy routinely lose to college jv teams...and almost all of those players go on to play college ball.
