Clearly they saw that Dylan was also on the roster and were worried!

Other than a couple big plays the Bash D was on point all day! Nance is good, really really good, but it is hard to complete passes off of your back. The O-line will improve as will the special teams throughout the year and this will be a scary team.

Pretty cool image from Wabash College's Facebook Page
I didn't realize Wabash had a drone..
You better be up to date on your donations or they will find you!
It is an awesome picture though.

Wabash alum Ian MacDougall took care of kickoffs today for Purdue, and by all reports did a heck of a job! Pretty cool to go from playing in the NCAC to the Big Ten.

Wally
Best commercial airport to fly into is ? How far is the drive to Wabash ?
Coming from Richmond, I'm guessing?
Indianapolis and then you're about an hour drive over to the College.
I have flown from IAD to Indy a couple of times, easy flight that was not to expensive. I am sure either Dulles or Reagan will have fairly reasonable flight deals if you are willing to drive up here to the capitol region.
September is fast approaching! I cannot wait for those crisp fall afternoons, some rhynie burgers, and a lot of hard hat D.

Great job to all of the little giants who got honors this week... Also congratulations. To nate scola for getting defensive player of the year.... I no scola was taking out of a lot of games early do to the giants being up big early in a lot of games... I wonder fellow Wallys what numbers scola could of really got for Wabash... If D3 football gives out any defensive awards this year scola should be a strong candidate... The numbers he put out are amazing considering he was taking out of some games... If the facts are right from what I heard Witt played all there starters in every game the whole way.... Wabash didn't....... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Your hearsay facts are not right. The starters may have played in some games longer than they should have, especially our defensive starters, but in games that were one-sided (most of them) they did not play the whole way.
Congrats to all players who were selected for Post-Season honors. The NCAC if filled with quality players and young men.
One good thing about this foolishness, Witt posters are appearing out of the woodwork.
Completely agree, hopefully we will get some good representation on the All-Region/All-American teams.

You would also think that the #2 team from the fifth ranked conference is better than than #4 team from the fifth ranked conference, but apparently that is not the case.
It will be interesting to see what kind of clarification Duey provides. Hopefully it will ease my frusturation and not shake my glass box of emotion I am currently trapped in.

Remember when it was announced that Depauw would be joining the NCAC and we all fell over each other slobbering on about all the potential, inevitable, staggering WHAT IFs that would collide in week eleven every year omigod? Remember that?
Instead, scroll up for our Monon Bell 2013 conversation. Shoot me.
1996 <-- That is (i believe) the last time a conference championship was on the line alongside the monon bell. Anybody want to give an over/under on when the next one will be?
Witt has a huge senior class this year. Lynch has the very young New Tigers improving each week. Wabash is returning a boat load on O and D. I would not be surprised to see a conference championship on the line next year.
First things first though, let's have another senior class at Wabash go 4-0.

I personally thought the interference call in the end zone possibly would've been waived off until your coach completely overreacted and ran out onto the field to dispute the call and got flagged.
If there was a penalty called every time Raeburn disputed a call (or a lack thereof), Wabash would average around 300 yards of penalties a game. I jest, but if this was really the case, the officiating would not just be bad, but unethical. Officials are paid to be unbiased and call the game the same for both sides regardless of outside factors, such as the score or disgruntled fans. Unfortunately officials are human and make mistakes, but they should always work to call a fair game and not have "revenge" calls.
Knowingly making an incorrect call due to a coach saying not nice things to you would IMO be grounds for permanent dismissal, from being an official.

Remember... @NCAC, #FreeHouston. There's a right thing to do here.
According to the Twittersphere the ruling on the field has been upheld. It appears that the NCAC is justifiably concerned about the health of Dannies.

DIII refs making DIII calls. I have seen enough bad calls in my few years watching DIII ball to know that these refs will make mistakes at least a couple of times a game. In all honesty I am suprised that this is the first time we have seen an ejection with Wabash's hard hitting defense.

It's funny to me that we pass off Monon as a total formality every November for as long as I've been on this board but then get butthurt when Wabash gets slighted in a similar manner. My program is totally buried. Wabash is going to win the Bell for 15 years straight, or so I've been told. We have stupid coaches and you have smart ones. Our administration is mean and yours is very pleasant. We'll never be able to recruit ever again. Your AD is super extra smart and mine is a female. Those are all things I've been told here. Meanwhile, when I say that Franklin probably beats the brakes off Wabash (which I think is true as we sit here today), everybody acts like their Cheerios just got peed in. In the grand scheme, what's the difference?
One is true and the other isn't!!!

In all seriousness though, there is nothing to suggest that Franklin would shred Wabash. Sure they have put up a lot of points the past few weekends, but against trash competition. Wabash also has put up ridiculous numbers against poor competition. Franklin hung tough with Mount and nearly beat them, I would expect the same to happen if Wabash played Mount. Wabash has not yet been tested this year, we will know much more about this team on the evening of November 9th.
As much as I want all those disparaging things about Depauw to be true, I know some day (hopefully long, long into the future) something flukey will happen and Depauw might score more points than Wabash. Anyways, trash talk is trash talk and it looks like Lynch is starting to turn things around down in Greencastle. A good and competitive Depauw team is a great thing for the rivalry, as nice as it would be 119-0-0 does not have the same significance as 57-53-9. I may not be mainstream in this opinion, but I would be very happy to see an undefeated Depauw team come to the bell game every year and leave with a loss. I will always remeber in 2010 hearing the Dannies chanting "can't be beat, can't be beat" before getting absolutly shelacked.
The Bell is special and both teams truly believing they will win makes it even more special.
Also, I do not like Cheerios anyways so go ahead.

What the heck, DPU over OWU, Tenn over USC and Vandy over UGA. Crazy day in college football.
Witt better watch out!
