I think the pre-season predictions for the ODAC are about right.  RMC has the most talent top to bottom.  As a BC fan, our hope is that the pitching staff will have improved over last year.  We will also need a couple of new starting OF's to step up at the plate. We're solid on the right side of the field and at 3rd, but SS, CF and LF will need to solidify quickly. 

Nope - it appears that it will be the Russ Matt.  I didn't know the names of the events, but it appears that Russ Matt is the one near Orlando.

I believe it is the Snowbird.  It's the weekend of March 6th near Orlando.  Same one we were in two years ago.  We were at the Ripken event last spring.  Hoping for sunny and 80 in Orlando next March.

I know that Bridgewater will be in Florida for spring break next year.  Anyone else heading there?

What a trip for a game today for BC.  On the road early for a ride from Bridgewater to Newport News to play NC Wesleyan, only to find out that the field was unplayable.  Then agree to drive down to Rocky Mount to play the game at NC Wesleyan.  Then they'll drive back to Bridgewater.  Sounds like a Single A Minor League road trip.

Bridgewater took two from NC Wesleyan in Rocky Mount today.  Eagles win easily in game 1 8-1 and take game 2 5-3 behind a Bay Liskey homer.

Finally time for some baseball (hopefully the games will get played) this weekend.  BC at NC Wesleyan tomorrow and Sunday.  Hitting the road tomorrow morning.

Hey guys - just wondering if there is anyone out there that puts out any analysis of ODAC freshmen incoming baseball players. Are there any Mitch Keeler's in this years class?

I think you're wrong.  The defense scored two of the td's on fumble returns.  #2 & #3 QB's were in from middle of the 3rd quarter on and lots of backup defenders played.  I think the number of BC kids that got into the game was in the 60's or low 70's by games end.

BC played very well, but St. Vincent was bad.  The Eagles were able to do almost anything they wanted to on offense and their defensive speed overwhelmed SV.  BC did what good teams do though, by taking advantage of every mistake SV made.
