Such a huge dropoff in announcer quality once ESPN takes over. Do they prep at all?

Has anyone gotten the audio to work. The link keeps taking me to the Marlington vs W Branch game. I cant justify spending $10 for the video to watch the equivalent of someone repeatedly pistol whipping a blind kid.

Desertraider I would like to see all that happen but then have the Patriots swoop in and sign him to take over when Brady retires in a few years.

In most LL games I watched, the starters really played until the game was at least 21+ point difference and it was 4th quarter. Third stringers maybe saw time in major blowouts, in the last 2-3 minutes. I think the 40+ freshman accept his, knowing that by the time they are junior/seniors, they will get 3+ quarters of real playing time.
Through the regular season 21 point difference happens about 7 minutes into the first quarter. Sure the 3rd and 4th stringers could go start for just about any other OAC team but who really wants to play the part of sacrificial lamb.

Another thing to consider with Mount is that while you may not start there is a chance that as 2nd string you could see more playing time then first string because of blowouts/OAC being weak in general and wanting to save wear and tear for the real season (playoffs). 3rd 4th and even 5th string will see meaningful time in the 3rd and 4th quarters normally still against the opponents 1st string. Add to that an extra 5 games worth of practice and 3 games worth of likely playing time for the ones that make the playoff roster. Over the course of the season I wouldnt be surprised if Mounts 3rd and 4th string have more playing time then an average schools second string. Oh and if Im 5th string I still have a great chance of having a nice little National Championship ring to show off to my grandkids.

December 23, 2015, 09:37:22 PMInteresting. Curious why people moved Ohio Northern, Albion, and Franklin ahead of NCC vs. the Week 11 poll. NCC didn't make the playoffs, but only one of those teams made it past the first round only to get smeared by Oshkosh in the second. Especially curious about the rationale of those voters who had them 5th and 6th at worst after Week 11 but dropped them out of the rankings completely for the final.
NT,
speaking only on Ohio Northern which got "smeared" by Oshkosh. They might be looking at what Oshkosh also did to Platteville (63-28) who beat NCC. No offense but NCC crapped the bed vs every quality opponent on their schedule. Playing teams close is only going to get you so high in the rankings eventually you have to win some of those games. Had they been put behind John Carroll another team that lost to every quality team on their schedule then I would seriously question it. Since NCC basically had both the Platteville and Wesley games won but found some way to lose. This is not to say that NCC is a bad team they just didnt put it all together in the games that mattered. Or it could just be something as simple as the voters felt that simply making the playoffs was enough to put Albion Franklin and Ohio Northern ahead of NCC.

Once again MU or UWW wins the stupid trophy. I am so tired of this...
Really don't understand why people whine all the time about this. Would you like them to start the game down 10 or 20 to give everyone a fair chance? What more could you have asked for? UWW and Mount were on the otherside of the bracket all UMHB had to do was take care of business when it mattered . . . And they didnt. When it mattered they choked. We could always just turn it into a participation trophy and just give everyone one. Would that be better?

Id be very dissapointed if I was in the MIAA today. This is not the type of team I would want representing me as a conference. Not because of the score because a first round blow out isn't that uncommon with Mount, but the sportsmanship on display by this Adrian team is deplorable. As much as I would like to see VK send a message that would make Easterhack take notice. I would be happy with resting the starters and putting up what they can with the backups.

Thanks for the update. Worst fears confirmed. Was hoping for some good half time adjustments and a quick score for Mount.
