That was an ugly one for the knights. Two years in a row with early exits.

Good luck to GAC. they should be able to take care of business tomorrow

Carleton win 2-1 to grab the AQ. Great game for the Knights. Also, great video coverage by the Carleton Sports information department.

In terms of the HD feed, I'm sure Carleton will broadcast it in HD. Last year for the playoffs they had two cameras going too. One field level, one at the top of the hill.

Gotta agree with you GG 2-0 Carls.

Caught about 15 minutes of the game. Couldn't get too much of a read on how it was going. Rosenthal didn't score though - weird for him am I right?  ;D Carleton ends Olaf's season 2 years in row.

I'm not going to complain about how Carleton gets no respect from people on these boards. It is to be noted that GG is a voice of reason. Sure they haven't had the best post-season runs the past 6 years but they've been there every time, just saying. I know they might not be the prettiest team (although Bartholomay is quite the looker), they get it done.

Looking forward to the nice field and great camera work at Carleton on Saturday.

Bad result for Gac. Did SJU even try to play soccer in the second half?  Sloppy soccer benefited SJU

Did the rankings get to the players heads? It's not like they haven't been there before. Sloppy stuff

Really sloppy match BUT It's really nice that GAC moved the camera to half. Great view/camera. Almost getting on Carleton's level  ;D

[Rumor] from inside source: Olaf's field is currently not playable. Supposedly they messed up when they were shoveling off the snow so the

CArLetON Olaf game is postponed.

It's going to be a good game regardless of the opinion of the Carleton midfield. Last time Carleton played away at Olaf in the playoffs (after losing in the regular season as well), the game went to 2OT and Olaf broke through with 30 seconds left.

I'd be scared of McGarrity, although Olaf will probably double/triple team him again.

The game will go into OT and Carleton is going to get a break this year - its their time to get one at Olaf.

Well, regular season coming to a close. Big games for a couple teams as the 4th playoff spot and home field advantage (for the first round) are still up for grabs. GAC is about to close up a pretty special season. Huge game in Northfield for second place.

Carleton hasn't faired too well there in the past (lost the past 3 times) but look for them to get some points off the Oles. Say what you will about how Carleton has performed in the beginning of the year- they're really coming into form now.

Mac @ SMU: 2-0 Mac
Hamline @ Gac: 3-0 Gac
Carleton @ Olaf: 2-1 OT
SJU @ Concordia: 3-0 SJU qualifies 4th and heads back to Northfield row the first round game for a second year in a row
St.Thomas @ Augsburg: 1-1

Went through the MIAC archives - not sure if they are all correct, but a lot of teams tied one game. Last undefeated season looks like St. Johns in 1986.

Any other insight?

Carleton taking player of the week awards 3 weeks in a row??   ;D ;D

Mac @ Concordia: 2-1 Long trip for Mac but they come away with one.

Gac @ Bethel: 3-0 Gac adds to their unbeaten streak.

Carleton @ STU: 1-1. Big game for both teams. Maybe St.Thomas is still embarrassed by the 4-0 loss last year.

Augs @ Olaf: 0-2 Olaf wins and gets ready for the Northfield Derby on Saturday.

SMU @ Hamline: 0-2 Snorefest

Congrats to GAC for clinching. Is this the earliest a team has clinched? Carleton in '09 clinched with 1 game left. 3 games left seems like a huge accomplishment (or bad showing from the rest of the team).

SMU @ SJU: SJU 2-0
Bethel @ Hamline:  Pipers 1-0
CarlEton @ Concordia: Carleton 3-0
Augsburg @ GAC: GAC 3-1
UST @ St. Olaf: St. Olaf 2-1
