I know you all like to see stories about DIII athletes. I saw this on a Milwaukee station.

Good luck to all three....they reprsent the heart of DIII and the strength of the WIAC and all those who sut up on .saturdays. It's not easy getting into the Pro Day, even for a Badger. Youneed a minimum if three pro teams asking to see you work out. This year we have three guys representing. Thank you Bulk for recognizing there is more to the conference than UWW...even on this board. Good luck again to All three...they are sweeating it out tonight. Hoping, praying, replaying every drill over and over. Let's give them our voice of support.....and more importantly our respect..not our Digs and dissing.

Eau Claire played an exciting game on Saturday. Two mis-haps. On the opening drive EC fumbled two yards from the goal line. That hurt. And in the 4th a CLEAR interception by the Blugolds was ruled incomplete. I had a clear line of sight on the play as did many others. Interestingly the slo mo video replay on the STU jumbotron was cut short as the screen showed the ball about to setlle into the open hands of the EC player. Then BLACK on the screen! Me thinks a conspiracy is afoot in the replay booth
. With 2:00 left in the game EC recovered its own onside kick. Drove down but with 50 seconds left a pass to the far side of the field was intercepted by STU at their own two yard line. Two Tommie knees later the game was over and STU won by five. It stung but what an exciting and enetrtaining game...in a wonderful environment.

UW Eau Claire BluGolds lined up against Gustavus for a scrimmage today in St Peter. Recently the BluGolds scheduled Wisconsin Lutheran so this is a bit if a change up this year. And the team has a new Defensive Coordinator. And the school a new Athletic Director. The A.D.will be a good addition to the athletic teams. He has DI experience and is here for a reason...family and future. A good combination. Any other scrimmages out there?
