Interesting, would figure they'd want to test out field and test proper shoes??
I'm sure they'll be able to test/change shoes tomorrow.

My understanding was that they were going to spend some time on the Bethel field today, after the walkthrough at the U of M.  Doesn't the NCAA require that the visiting team have access to the field on the day prior to the game?

Their busses rolled onto campus around noon today.  The looks on their faces once they saw the frozen tundra that is Royal Stadium were of both excited anticipation for tomorrow and apparent nervousness for the cold.  Same thing coming from the BU players.

It is confirmed... Bethel doesn't have the capacity to handle two events on Saturday on their campus...

"Football fans will park at a nearby off-campus location and will be shuttled to the stadium. This shuttle is free and will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m."

Poor field, no parking, crap weather.  Nice job with the site selection vetting process, NCAA!!!

The parking lot is right across the street. Not enough reason to take away the home field that Bethel earned with its strength of schedule this year.

To be fair, the parking is around a mile away at the Country Financial office building that Bethel recently acquired to convert into their graduate school.  There is a shuttle running from the parking lot to Bethel's campus.

maybe BU needs to consider having the Music festival at night. In the past, it has caused parking chaos for home basketball games scheduled that day, too.

Oh, come on.  Why would the music department have to adjust their schedules around athletics?  The Festival of Christmas is an incredible event and an incredible draw to campus -- I believe around 10,000 people attend the Festival each year.

If any of you are planning on making the trek to Arden Hills, Minnesota on Saturday for the game, take note of the parking situation.  With two major events on the wooded, suburban campus at the same time, parking is a real issue.  Bethel is urging fans to take the park-and-ride they've set up for Saturday's game:

Spread the word!  Two outstanding events will be held at Bethel on Saturday, which means it will be congested!!!

All signs seem to point toward Bethel playing at North Central, not North Central at Bethel.  I guess we'll see tomorrow...

What signs are those???

Bethel is purportedly the #1 seed and the assumption on here and the CCIW board all postseason is that Bethel would host the quarterfinal matchup.

My bad!  I was going off the NCAA's site yesterday, where the bracket was set up as showing (but not explicitly saying) that NC was the home team.  They updated it this morning and now it looks different.  My apologies!  Looking forward to another BU home game this weekend... expect great things out of this team.  With Peterson out, the Royals will be hurting, yes, but do not underestimate how this team will handle adversity.  I've said it before and I'll say it again:  this is a special, special team.

You guys, check out this week's highlight video made by the Bethel student.  It's similar to last weeks, but this week has some pretty powerful testimony from Coach J and the players.  It really captures well how special this Bethel team is and what their program is based on.  Pretty cool stuff to see out of college guys at a little school in Minnesota.

Nice win by the Royals.  They outplayed CSS in (literally) every single aspect of the game.  Bethel has a lot to be proud of, but can't overlook Wartburg.  They were up on Wartburg 30-0 when they played them to open the season and let Wartburg score 17 unanswered points in the second half.  This Bethel team especially, though, will be ready.  I'd imagine the game will be back in Arden Hills as it's supposed to be around 32 degrees and the Dome is booked with MSHSL tourneys.
