This is a young team with 16 freshmen on the two deep

I confused with the above sentence.  I see Mount had only 4 freshman on the two deep.  13 freshman dressed (3 did not participate).

The Muskingum / Capital game has been a good game to watch!  It has been back and forth all night.

Could Muskingum pull this out?

"How do you sell ONU and Burg to these kids?   "Come here.  Our campus is in the middle of no where and it's an hour or more from the nearest airport."  And for ONU...a friend of ours attended there 5 years ago and had to change cellular plans b/c only one carrier had service in Ada.  Has that changed???"

That is so funny.  My son went for a school visit about 2 years ago.  His comment to me was that he ruled the school out because there was no cell service.

"WHO WILL CALL THE SIGNALS IN THE OAC IN 2015?"
By JEFFREY ZUPANIC
http://www.the-review.com/mount%20union%20sports/2015/04/04/who-will-call-the-signals-in-the-oac-in-2015

Mount has Nick Peyakov, David Burkes, Taurice Scott and Roman Namdar
JCU is Jake Schaefer,
Heidelberg is Jon Sandwisch,
ONU is Tyler Walter,
Otterbein has Kevan Green and Joey Longhino
Not alot of experience last year for these QBs with the exception of Schaefer (40 passes for 188 yards and three touchdowns) and Sandwisch (30 passes for 244 yards and a touchdown)
It will be a very interesting year to see who can step up and replace the great senior QBs from last year.

I saw some stuff recently on a Browns board that Mark Meyers allegedly in some big trouble.  A poster on the board indicated that the pending charges against him are ORC 2913.31A3 - 5 counts, plus Grand Theft and Telecomm fraud thrown in.

An additional posting indicated Meyers had an OVI in Lyndhurst reduced to a Reckless Operation due to a legal issue last Fall.  Mark then got an OVI in Pepper Pike, along with a Drug Paraphernalia charge in January 2015.  Those remain pending.

Source, please.

When you come here and drop assertions that a guy is facing criminal charges, one would think you could link to something (court docket? newspaper?) proving that's true other than "I heard on a Browns board..."

I indicated it was reported as allegedly...  The link is http://cle.scout.com/forums/4409-the-watercooler/13678800-john-carroll-qb-mark-myers-sounds-like-an-intriguing-prospect?s=149&page=2

There is some information on page 1 in the subject as well.  I wasn't able to find anything else on Google searches.

Geez, Craft. You may want to post nothing when it comes to impugning a kid's reputation.  Earlier, you mysteriously talked about inside information that would eventually come out regarding a hiring process.  All these vague allusions to something you supposedly knew that others did not, but no details.  And now, when it comes to allegations that could be a serious deal for a kid, you cite a specific section of the law as posted on a message board.  I'm trying to figure out how you roll.

When his negative Karma is twice as much as his positive Karma, he likes to roll the wrong way.

Not that crazy about the gray pants. Would of have liked more white with gray accents like the jersey.

I would have liked black instead of the gray.

It was interesting to see the Mount Union 2015 Spring roster posted so soon.  We have lost 4 juniors from last year and only 64 freshman remain from the original 101 players.  Also a couple of last year seniors by mistake.  Is that the usual attrition rate for Mount union? Does any of the other OAC schools have a similar or a different story?

I saw in the Rep that 3 kids from Massillon, 2 of whom were All-Ohio, are coming to Mount.  An O lineman and a couple LB's.  Solid start to recruiting.

p.s. Raider68 will be happy because the lineman is already listed at 6'3" 285 so he's a pretty good sized kid coming in.
Here are those Mount Union recruits and a few additional ones:

Darrin  Bath-OG (6'3", 280 lb) Haslett, MI
Louis Berry IV-WR (5'7", 158 lb) Pittsburgh, PA
Nick Bushman-OL (6' 2", 289 lb) Massillon, OH
Trevor Cox-RB (5' 9", 165 lb) Hilliard, OH
DaShawn Darden-QB (5' 11", 185 lb) Kingston, PA
Dillon Daxe-TE (6' 2", 220 lb) Kettering, OH
Kyle Grieser -MLB (5' 11", 225 lb)  Loxahatchee, FL
Malek Jackson-OLB (5' 11", 175 lb) Massillon, OH
Kenny McDowell-SB (6' 0", 180 lb) Chelsea, MI
Danny Robinson-MLB (6' 0", 216 lb) Massillon, OH
Austin White-WR (6' 2", 210 lb) Wadsworth, OH

Welcome back, bceagle80!

Your posts reminded me of a question I meant to ask at the beginning of the playoffs but had forgotten to.  I know that roster size is limited for the playoff runs, but is the roster set before the playoff game and is then the same throughout?  Or is there a chance for someone to be added to the playoff roster after they begin providing another player is dropped?

To my knowledge, once the playoff roster is set, then that is it.

The playoff roster can change up to 10 minutes before kickoff.

Per quote from D3Football website.
"Starting in 2012, the limit was increased from 52 to 58 players. That list is final 10 minutes before kickoff but can be changed until then. A team can field a different roster in each round, if it desires. Both the home and road team are limited to suiting up 58 players. The team's remaining players cannot be in the team box on the sidelines during the game."
