Crusader. fwiw I read your sched wrong from last year.  You did in fact beat Chicago.  I suppose this is where you tell me to know my facts before you read them or something. Just know it was an honest mistake.

I am most familiar with the UAA and would love to hear all POV's.  Ive seen Carnegie a bit... they are strong...but thats a tough weekend ahead. If Lynch gets by Messiah they are my bet for Natl champs.

To go off of crusader i agree with all advancing except I choose Ill Wes over Chicago and TCNJ over Misercordia

I second WUH!
I also watched Capital v Wash and was in disbelief as well.  Wash was the better team top to bottom player for player. Any one who watched knew and the box score doesn't lie. Its also considered a Tie and not a Win... so they tied 2 UAA teams ( Chicago and Wash) last year in the NCAAs they did not win.

Advancing on PKs is cruel...but the rules.  Capital advanced rightfully so.

I think if you are anything less than ranked 4th or 5th in the region you are not going to get a a good pod draw... I think Allegheny got a really tough draw for being 3rd in the region. The trend seems to me... placements go. Top 'ish' in region... lower in region... 2 non ranked (typically AQs) and/or upper top 25 team, lower top 25 team, NR, NR
In this case
Messiah  #1 in region/ 2
Gettysburg # 5 in region / dropped out top 25
Capital NR
Brooklyn NR

Thomas More #2 in region / 9
Emory #4 in region / 21
Kenyon NR
Maryville NR

William Smith #1 in region /7
TCNJ #3 in region /12
Allegheny #3 in region
Keene NR

Impressive yes but a 2-1 win vs john Hopkins deems more impressive than 11-0 win vs Eastern Mennonite.  Was somewhat surprised with the 1-0 OT win vs Va Wesleyan ..perhaps they are looking past the ODAC Championships at this point.

They seem like they could be a team seen in the final four no doubt.  Always need a little luck with the draw.

Of teams mentioned...
#2 Messiah proving to be the team we all know with a perfect 7-0 record and conceding only 1 goal on the year.  1-0 OT win on #11 Misericorida this week

#7 Emory seemed to have been dominant over Capital with a 3-1 win and a lopsided shot count of 34 - 6.

Other notables:
Middlebury is currently sitting at 3-3 on the season with hiccups against Amherst, Conn College and Bowdoin

#1 Washington University also ever dominant with a perfect record and 1 goal conceded as well. Next weekends match up vs #3 Wheaton will be a great test of the best playing the best.

#15 William Smith sitting at 3-2, dropping games to #4 Carnegie Mellon ( whom is having a great start) and Messiah.  William Smith might be down but there not out. Those aren't bad losses by any means

Ill Wesleyan v Chicago another interesting match up next week in the top 25

My dark horses for the year are Lynchburg and Bowdoin.  Impressive results against some good teams... I know its still early but this could be a interesting NCAA Tournament.

All in all it seems like this could be anyones year.  Any noteables missing???

Do they have a solid GK replacement?? As an outsider looking in she seemed to keep them in a lot of their games as they got further in the NCAA's

Who's looking strong this Fall?? Who graduated a lot? Will Messiah climb back up to the top this year or Trinity make another appearance in the finals?
