All that was needed to be said about the Conference Championship game has been said. Could we move on to the NCAA Tournament now ??

Certainly!  First of all, how the hell can you have a state and a city named Washington and I hear the freakin' school isn't in either one of those places!  Losers!  Name your school after some other dead president! ("Reagan University" recently became an option.) Second, have the Bares have any recent success?  I'm sure they're no match for the rich basketball tradition of LU.  Really, the only queston is how badly LU will beat them down.  I say that Jojo puts in the 3rd string at halftime to keep the margin under 50.

Lawrence plays WashU at Elmhurst.

Sigh, I was hoping for a home game.  Oh well...

I didn't know where to ask this, so I'll try here.  Is it possible that any of the NCAA games will have online video or do the NCAA regs prevent that?

I would be thrilled if LU got a home game against anyone.  Although I certainly acknowledge the expertise of the D3hoops gurus, I suspect that LU will travel to UW-somebody in a 4-team pod.  If they weren't good enough to host last year with a 22-2 record and a regional ranking of #3, I can't imagine they will be able to host this year.

After LU's loss at home to Ripon on Jan. 28, they turned it around and dominated their remaining games.  Including 5 games against Grinnell, St. Norbert, and Carroll, LU outscored their opponents by an average score of 87-64.  I think they're playing better than at this time last year and have a good shot to make an NCAA run.  Now, if we can get 1-2 more home games...

It looks like we're in the "only LU can foul" phase of the half...

Interesting tidbit....only 4 players have scored for GC.  That surprises me a bit...

WOW..even bigger tidbit...Grinnell only has 2 assists in the game....2!!!

Maybe they miss Little A more then we thought....

Larry_U, Coach A is known for 'adjusting' the statistics AFTER the game.  I wouldn't be surprised to see some additional assists appear in the final box score.

Interesting that all fouls on LU are "good calls"....

While video is out, live stats will be posted at: http://wm.grinnell.edu/athletics/ftp/mwc/xlive.htm

Thanks for the link.  I don't see the line for BCIGFs (Bad Calls in Grinnell's Favor).  ;)

Apparently, the entire Penn Atlantic site is down.  :'(

They might not have been ready for all the traffic from conference championship games today.

Can any knowledgeable guru out there provide some info on the possibility of the MWC champ hosting an NCAA tourney game?  Who should we be rooting for or against for that to happen?  If GC happens to win tomorrow, even I'll root for them.

Frankly, I think Grinnell is better with Long doing more of the ball handling.  I don't think GC misses Arseneault that much.

SNC missing tons of layups.  You gotta make the layups that GC gives you to beat them.

Actually, it just appears that the refs are kinda sorta calling the majority of the many fouls that GC commits as part of their "system."  Let's hope it continues.  GC will have to adjust or have all their players foul out by halftime.
