Only 500 fans? I thought the attendance looked light, but hoped the fans were all sitting on the opposite side of the camera.  We have had at least half that ourselves.  Were folks choosing to wait until Atlanta???  As fans who have visited the Final Four in Salem several times, I can tell you it is an enjoyable experience that we always look forward to.  We enjoy walking into arena and seeing the championship banners hanging.    We enjoy the drive through the mountains, the warmer weather, the friendly reception and friendly southern welcome we receive.  We can't wait to go back.   As far as name recognition...how many outside of D III realize there is another level of besides I and II?   As fans of Division III how can you NOT be aware of Salem.   I guess you are aware of anything as much as you choose to make yourself aware.

And One, thanks for the info on seating....now can someone tell us about the other important matter?   What kind of concessions will be available?  Will there just be the soda, chips, and candy, or will other food be available.   Can food be brought in?

I knew I could count on you, Q.  It was an incredible run and a fun experience that weekend.

Q, Probably wrong here...but what was Elmhurst ranked in 2001?  I know they were not the home team, but I thought they were ranked #1 or #2 in the country at that time.  I was thinking it was #1 and the next night we beat what would have been the next highest ranked team...Chicago.  Refresh my memory, please.

Congratulations to Augustana for a great season.  The defeat stings now, but be proud of what you have accomplished and how bright your future looks.

And I have a headache from the stress of the ups and downs of the game.   First lead of the game with four seconds and it was enough.  Great composure, Titans.  Congratulations on a memorable win!

Also, great season by Augie.  Congratulations on making to the final 8.  Right now there is the sting of defeat, but you will should be very proud of your accomplishments this year.

Congratulations to IWU and "nicely done" to Wheaton.
I am hoping for IWU and the U of Chicago to meet in the final four semifinal, with the winner taking the championship the next day. Good luck to each!

I can agree to that.  Good luck to the Titans.

I think everyone will be very, if not overly, cautious.  With all the talk about concussions now, nobody wants to put Travis at risk.  I really will be surprised if he is given the go ahead.   I don't know if Travis has any other gear than full speed.

Ron said that he would have to be cleared by the doctor after he went through the series of tests.  I got the impression that if he passed those tests, he would be able to dress and see some minutes. Anyone else take it that way?
I sure hope he gets that chance.  I know it is probably pretty hard to sit back and watch, not being able to participate.

I don't think IWU will take River Falls lightly at all.   I, too, hope that it will be a darn good game.  I also hope IWU's history of knocking off the first and second ranked teams in the country in the playoffs, continues.

Absolutely.  I feel the same way about the seniors.   They have worked through a lot this year and it is nice to see them rewarded with post season play.

I guess we can now take IWU out of that discussion of highly ranked preseason teams that did not make the tournament!

News we heard as we were leaving King Arena was that Travis was doing better.  Travis is a fine young man and one that our family has a great fondness for.  We certainly pray for Travis and a speedy recovery.
