Quote from: 10Freeway on January 08, 2025, 11:07:00 AMPeople in the Midwest do not want to move to CA let alone go to school there.  That is the big issue even USC is dealing with currently.  California costs too much in general.

I am next door in Oregon and I don't want to go to So. Calif. either.

Quote from: D O.C. on December 08, 2024, 11:55:38 PMI AM NOT SURE WHICH PLAYOFF HOME LOSS STICKS IN MY CRAW THE MOST, ST. THOMAS, OSHKOSH OR THIS UMHB,
TODAY MAKES ME SAD BECAUSE A CHANCE TO PLAY AN EAST6 COAST TEAM WAS LOST.
 I FREL IT WAS OSHKOSH.
CONGRATS TO THE'SADERS.

Oshkosh.

MH-B is always a big challenge.  St. Thomas was good, but I felt that we didn't play our A game.

Mary Hardin Baylor is ALWAYS tough to beat. I am wary playing them.  We can't make mistakes.

What do we know about Texas Lutheran?

They have an offense that scores.  Texas teams are usually tough.

And a home game, which I really didn't expect.

Me either.  But we'll take it.

Quote from: George Thompson on November 14, 2024, 11:09:47 AMWhat is NPI?

It's the NCAA Power Index, the ranking system now used in all D-III sports. You can find a link to the most current ranking in a link on the front page menu on D3football.com.

Thank you.

Quote from: wildcat11 on October 28, 2024, 12:17:55 PMUPS is still UPS. Should be an interesting 3 weeks.  I feel Linfield has figured out the QB situation and is in a nice groove with it.

Agree.  Offense is playing well.  This team has good potential.

DOC,

I am so sorry to hear that.  My health is failing also.  Broken back, which I can live with.  My heart issues are more serious and will never improve.   But, at my age, I am not surprised.

Been to only one game in last 2+ years.

I am glad we met a few years ago.

Wish you the best.

I don't see a blow-out; will be happy with any Linfield win.

Neither team looks like a Top 10 team.  But, the season is still young.

Rushing for 2.2 yds. per carry will not win many games.

Quote from: catjumper on September 07, 2024, 07:52:51 PM'Cats need to get a LOT better on offense if they're going to make a playoff run. 31 points, but 2 defensive touchdowns and the field goal was set up by a turnover. Defense looked good and was tested by a Denison quarterback who was an outstanding scrambler.

Agree 100%. Hopefully, it was just the first game issues.

Why are no colleges between the midwest and San Francisco area?   Only the NWC and SCIAC.  Makes out of conference games a long trip for those these two conferences.

ALL-NWC is out

BTW, the NWC HC's need to check themselves on the honorable mentions, there is like 500 guys on that list. Lewis and Clark had NINE guys named honorable mention.  NINE

That is so true!!   We see it every year.
