With all the hype about the legendary coaches in this year's D1 Final Four, I was perusing an all-time wins list for men's college basketball coaches. I noticed that there are only nine coaches in history (at any level or classification) that have both more career victories and a higher winning pct than Glenn Van Wieren. I normally wouldn't go out of my way to praise anything orange and blue, but I found it interesting and it's a pretty impressive list:

Mike Krzyzewski, Dena Smith, Adolph Rupp, Steve Moore, Roy Williams, Bo Ryan, Jerry Tarkanian, Dave Robbins, John Wooden

Only three of those coaches also coached their entire career at one school.

That is impressive!

I think Mount and Marietta both proved on the court how good they are.  Do the "rankings" really matter?  I am sure fans, coaches, and players would take a Final four berth instead of being ranked 4th and losing early in the March Madness process.  I am ooking forward to an exciting 15-16 season. Any news on the Cardinals and Muskies coaching searches?

Great comeback for the Pioneers - on to the Elite 8! Congrats!

DePauw had Augie on the ropes.   Mount will not be a decided underdog.

The OAC gets three teams in the tournament!  Congrats to all.  Mount Union and Marietta with favorable draws and could do some damage.  It looks like Marietta vs Wooster in the second round!

Wow!  Wooster gets a great draw and OWU gets a horrible draw.  I agree with David.  I really question why the Bishops were given the situation they received compared to a lower ranked (and 0-2 in head to head vs OWU) Scots team.  DePauw is going to be done quickly as well.  Tough day for the NCAC other than Wooster.  I think Coach Moore has the committee in his back pocket!   ;D

Witt, Wooster, and OWU all made it in 2012 as well.  This could be the 3rd time in 4 years the NCAC gets 3 bids to the tourney.

Mount Union wins; really good game; over to watch Calvin/Hope.
may not pop a bubble but could put Etta on thin ice

Marietta is in.

Calvin at Marietta in the NCAA's?

Congrats to the Purple Raiders!  OAC is sure to get two teams in the NCAA tourney!

DePauw beats Wooster???  Is Wooster on the bubble?
#12
It could be a classic tonight in Marietta.  Mount needs to win to get in the NCAA's.  Marietta is in no matter the outcome.

If DePauw beats Wooster, I think Wooster would be the third team since OWU swept the Scots head to head.

Rankings will look different next week.   ;D

I maintain my position from earlier in the season.  Wooster wins the league tournament and the automatic bid.  OWU gets an at-large big to the NCAA Tournament.
