UMB first year players Kenawy and Martinez-D1 Northeastern recruits/commits who enrolled at UMB. Most likely to get grades/scores up, though I don't know that for a fact

I caught some of the game. Was majumber offside on the goal on the pass slipped thru by Kayne. How much did Kaynes bicycle kick miss by? Hard to tell on video. Tufts outshoots Brandeis and the Judges with 5 yellows but deserve the win...
From my angle he was off, but not by much. Hard to say. That was a decision that really could've gone either way. Kayne's bicycle was about a foot over the bar, but it was an excellent effort and no way the keeper could have saved it if on target.
Was in the Tufts football stands with great view of this.
100% onside.
Who knows of Majinde would have scored. Whistle blew quickly and Brandeis stopes playing. Majinde put it on the net. But everyone except him had stopped playing

September 27, 2015, 12:24:44 AMQuote from: blooter442 on September 26, 2015, 07:08:08 PMUGLY SOCCER game. Very little soccer played, a lot of LONG BALL.
Great recap NCAC. Agree that Tufts is the superior side, but Brandeis was good value for their win. They certainly threw everything at Brandeis but didn't create any clear cut chances aside from the Majumder one that was offsides. Was surprised by how quiet he was kept. Lanahan is and was a presence but Lynch was MotM for me.
There's certainly a difference between being fast and being a dynamic player, and I think Bradley is the former. The Judges really need to sort things out up front, particularly who plays CF. Still think Kayne and Majumder are excellent players and could give Amherst a handful next weekend.
Both teams CAN play, but maybe it was the choppy grass field. Would have liked to see these teams try to PLAY on a turf field.
Not much between these sides. Majunder the best on the field. Brandeis missing Jastremski, Miskin and Hacunda. Makes their win more impressive.

Don't believe what Mr. Wrong says.
Koch died just over a year ago and O'Neill filled in for a year after assisting Koch for 2.
He will do just fine at WNEC.
He's a Western Mass kid who played at Middlebury

I am not going to get into a back and forth on this.
Suffice it to say that you are wrong on all accounts. I don't know where you get your information. You should be known as Mr. Wrong.
True, Ainscough has a temper, but he is an EXCELLENT coach who cares deeply for his players success both on and off the field.
Oh btw, nice result for Williams yesterday.

Ainscough played for Ed Kelly(BC Head Coach) at Fairly Ridiculous University when Ed Kelly coached there. True Then he was Kelly's assistant at BC for a couple years then got the Providence College Head coaching gig from 1996-2000 I believe. He turned that program around pretty fast but then an incident happened which caused him to resign. False-He was a part time coach and was selling insurance as well as coaching. He was offered a full time job at Bowdoin. He immediately got the Bowdoin Head Coaching gig from 2000-2005 and immediately turned them around. Bowdoin WAS VERY GOOD from 2000-2004 and had a GREAT side in 2003. He then has a couple run-ins with parents with the club he started(Seacoast) and another issue and was forced out in July 2005. False-No run ins with parents. His family (wife)wanted to move back to Boston to be closer to other family. And he did not start Seacoast. Luckily there was still an opening at Northeastern and he got the job immediately. He managed to turn that program around also and got an NCAA bid I believe in 2012.
That is why he has a shelf life of about 6-7 years at a school before he starts to wear out his welcome False. Mr Right this is the dbag post of the year. Don't post what you don't know...He does have a knack of turning programs around and is a very good coach. At Bowdoin he would be coaching every play but I think he has calmed some since then
