Just glad to see the NESCAC crew is priming up for the 2018 campaign.  The Mammoths will finish on top this season.  You can book that.

For those of you that live out "In the Sticks".... I won't get to shake those hands on those road games.  My son has graduated and is working in the world of Finance.  The football experience was an amazing one for him and in fact the networking played a part in him landing his new position.  Looking forward to another great NESCAC season that hopefully goes down to the last weekend AGAIN!  GO MAMMOTHS!

Lumbercat,

Cosell was the standard.  His impact on sport is stoll underappreciated.   We would tune in to see and hear him ....just as much as to view the event.  Miss that guy!!!

Does that mean he wears the toupee' that Howard wore so well?

Cheer Lord Mammoths!  Cheer!

But why do I now sense an upset special in the making (after all this)!

No cheers Lord Mammoths until you have sealed the deal lol

Lol, Midds have 2 losses ......so no!  They need help.  We talkin about "tie" breakers.  :)

IVY leagues like multiple champions because it helps them raise more money?  Smh.

Head to Head should Matter

Gotta be a hollow feeling to say we are co-champs with a team that beat us.

Sounds like the old "participation" trophy mantra imho.

Class 18'  Lord Mammoths want to finish their career with an unblemished record against the Ephs.  Their 3rd ring is at stake.  A chance for 32-5 record to boot.  Lots of pressure on their plate against a dangerous revitalized Ephs team.

I keep thinking.....who was the guy on this board who said the Lord Mammoths would go 0-3 to finish year by losing to Tufts, Trinity and Williams?

And shouldn't head to head MATTER in a tie?  Especially since now each team plays the other in a season?

Trinity no way believes they are "co-champions" with Amherst after getting thoroughly defeated.  Time of possession 36mins to 24mins?  Savage

The Foy TD pass with under 1 minute (?) to play in first half should go down as THE PLAY OF THE NESCAC YEAR!  It was 3rd down maybe.  Foy rolled right and barely eluded a fast Trinity DLineman and threw an amazingly accurate 30 yard pass to a somewhat well covered WR down the sideline.  The Mammoth WR leaped and snagged the into the wind pass....then raced the last 20 yards into the end zone to give the Lord Mammoths the Momentum and 14-7 as the crowd went crazy.

Mammoths got the ball to begin the 2nd half and quickly made it 21-7 with a long dominating drive.

Trinity was never again in this game.

Saw the Lord Mammoths practice today.  They are loose.  They seem ready.   Fall weather is in the air.  Hopefully not windy tomorrow.  Look for a low scoring game.

Off the NESCAC record....there's a rumor that your Patriots may sign Kaepernick in next 10 days.  Would that go well?  Does Kraft have that much cache to pull off that twist?  What's your thoughts?

Lord Mammoths by a point in a wild finish

Polar Cat,

The game saving tackle was made by.........the kicker in the Saints game!

Also, Joshua Tree was great.  Love downtown Tufts.  Saw the Trinity scouts at the Amherst game.

Who picked Amherst 4th place at beginning of season?  Heck, who picked em to finish 0-3?

Speak!

Ollie is making things happen for the offense with both arm and feet.

The backups for Midd have been touted to be high scaliber.

Even Reece Foy had a great 2 min drill today for the Lord Mammoths.  Great to see!

Trinity coming to the Mammoths Den for all the marbles.....talking rights
