Drop what bottle? You're talking to the wrong person. Maybe some others on that staff? Enjoy the game tomorrow.

Guess again Tiger Fan. Not Bridgewater.

Ok, leaves adult beverages for they officials in their locker room? Is that better?

I have a question, hypothetical of course. There are 3 hypothetical student-athletes, two defensive guys and one running back. They all have GPA's that range from 2.3-2.5 and have SAT scores that range from 730-750, obviously none over 800. What ODAC schools can they get admitted to. I understand that they could get into Averett and Ferrum but, ODAC schools? Maybe Shenandoah but, in 2015 what other schools? Also, even if they got in, how could they pay when they would barely be eligible for the minimum academic awards i.e $15,000-17,000. That leaves another $45,000+ give it take to pay. Is there a Ronald McDonald scholarship that pays the rest?

I respect your opinion.  I will remind you that GC gave up over 600 yards to SU and respectfully the game against BC was a lot closer than you make it sound. I don't agree with regaleagle that BC won everywhere but the scoreboard. GC played better on special teams and had fewer turnovers. But it was like he said a very close game right until the end.

Red zone turnovers killed them and bad penalties.

JK,

I'll agree with that. In the end, that's all that matters.

Do turnovers count? Do special teams yards and points count? Most people always use turnovers and special teams points as an excuse for better or worse. Same thing when someone scores with less than 3 minutes. Those points count as well.

Come on guys, hypothetically speaking of course and not fictionally speaking.

JK,

The votes will come, just keep winning. In the end, it's all about the wins.
#9
JK,

The Generals will be fine. Winning on the road after a bad day is nothing to be ashamed of. They don't have to be perfect the rest of the way, just win 3 of 4. Remember, they are a tough preparation for only having one week to get ready for them.

JK,
I hope the Generals can win 3 of the next 4. Hopefully there will be no backdoors this year.

Plus they might want to find a game they can win without having to count on HSC turning the ball over 7 times.

Don't throw it 72 times and you might not turn it over 7 times. It's all part of the game. It's like counting on W&L fumbling it 5 times when you play them, maybe it happens and maybe it doesn't. Turnovers are like injuries, you never account for them but, hopefully you make a great preparation and can overcome them. In the end, that's why you play the games.

This week's games:

R-MC (+9.5) vs. W&L
SU (-5.5) vs. Catholic
E&H (-3) vs. H-SC
Bridgewater (+7) vs. Guilford

JK,

You must be on the H-SC payroll, lol. Isn't, H-SC's run a partial run? Marty must have put you up to this. Like I said, they are 7-9 against the Eagles including last year's lopsided defeat. I don't think you can discount a teams performance regardless of when it happened. Like it or not, it still counts. I guess we can agree to disagree.

Also, BC received an at-large bid in 2000 so, contrary to what other people say on this board, H-SC is not the only team to receive an at-large bid.

JK,

You can make stats say anything you want to however, I'm not sure how you can be more consistent than 36 wins, 6 playoffs birth and 5 conference championships in a row.  I'm not sure how much more dominant a team can be.  Also, since you have jumped on the H-SC bandwagon.  The Tigers are 7-9 against the Eagles in that time.  Granted, they may have slipped a bit but, they have always been a tough out to play against and the best coached team in the league.
