This needs to be a forfeit.
Cancelling the game a day before, REALLY ??!!
Pretty disgraceful on whats going on over there.
A few years ago they were contenders, now a joke.
Probably take in that team out east and Chapman tomorrow night.

Give the Leos credit for playing four quarters.
La Verne better figure out what to do on offense real quick.
The Cal Lu QB picked them apart for the better of 3 quarters, would good to see ULV get some pressure on him.
If week 1 is any indication, the SCIAC goes through that team out east.

Two-a-days about to be eliminated.
I know the Leo's suffered injuries last year during 2 a days. Knees, concussions, etc.
Not sure yet how to feel / what to think about this yet.
Coaches are going to have find more creative ways to get players ready.
Safety first I guess.

That must have been quite the game in quite the rivalry.
Always liked the cal lu redlands series.
the way it was looking i thought the kingsman were in upset mode, but redlands made a great comeback in the 4th quarter.
I follow all the SCIAC action while either at home or when at ULV games.
speaking of the leos, they closed out the season with a nice win over whittier, 41-14.
every year the seasons seem to go by quicker, this season was no different.

Doesn't look good on what's going on over at ULV.
They played both PS and Whitworth tough, then in both conference games they look horrible.
I do know the injury bug has hit them, as key players are either out for a few weeks or done for the year.
Yesterday, ULV had its chances to get back in the game vs Redlands...what was that fake punt all about? bas decision. gave UR good position and I think led to a score. UR oline was getting a good push all day vs ulv front. Conversely, ULV couldn't get the push it needed to get its running game going.
Hopefully the Leos can get it going next week vs. Oxy.

Cat,
no kidding.
There's a new sheriff in town and its name is sagehen??
I watched the first half of that one and PP's defense looked great.
Plus they were able to move the ball some on that CLU defense.

I too, watched both ULV and some of UR/ Trinity.
ULV had its chance, that missed PAT seemed to deflate the momentum as did the ensuing scoring drive by PS.
Way too many mistakes for ULV. Look for that to be cleaned by next week or Whitworth will put a wax job on the Leos.
UR made a nice comeback vs Trinity, just not enough at the end. The defense looks better than I thought it would.
UR should blow out GF next week.

ULV has the advantage from the financial standpoint and admissions standards. Since they are lower than UR (stingy aid), Chapman (stingy), Oxy (good aid), CMS, PP, ...hence a kid with a good SAT score can go to ULV and receive more aid or for players that can not get into the schools I listed can get in. It is what it is...no worries just facts. It should be this way, not all kids are the same and I think ULV does a good job and presents a great opportunity for kids that should and deserve to be in college.
UR has a goal by 2020 to have equal Hispanic and whites enrolled, complaints have started from a financial aid standpoint, interesting perceptions going on. I really see UR moving to the middle of the pack in all sports. The president has far different priorities and sports are not one of them. They still want Maynard to recruit 60 to 70 males every year, which is so ironic and contrary to their stated goals...Money talks in the end.
Leo what is the outlook on the team ?
I do know they are working hard all summer with conditioning.
Camp finished up and onto Puget Sound week to begin the season.
OL looks to have some studs and decent depth, DL lacks depth, QB is a battle, secondary is solid, LB are fast but lack experience. CMS, with all those returners, look like the team to beat. This should be a very balanced league. I dont think anyone goes unbeaten here.

I think La Verne is the only school under 50k barely, UR is 56k+, Chapman, Pomona, Oxy, CMS all over 60k.
NWC not quite as bad as the SCIAC. East Coast some schools like SCIAC, but Midwest and of course public schools 20k plus less.
I think since the State of CA is more solvent, privates can not keep raising prices as fast and they have in the past.
ULV is going to raise tuition by about 4% a year for next few years at least.
Higher the GPA, the more award money students / players receive.

ULV begins Spring practice on 4/18.
They had a lot of local talent (recruits) on campus a few weeks back.
Big shoes to fill with the graduation of Livingston, Sparks - Jackson, and Penalber, just to name a few.

I don't know about he quantity of coaches.
But, Durant, the strength / conditioning coach is full time and the real deal. There are two guys running the weight room. Lozon is the other. These dudes are monsters. That's partly why ULV was successful last year. #culturebeforescheme
From what I'm hearing you had better be in shape when reporting to ULV this summer, if not, no way you'll make it.

Any links / sites for D3 commits.
Looking for SCIAC mostly.
No such thing as a SCIAC commit. Coaches just hope they pay tuition and show up as they said they would.
Exactly! That's why I always chuckle when I read about a kid having a signing day for a DIII program.
Picture of Parents making deposit check...reminds me of AYSO and everyone gets a trophy
All that's pretty funny.
Newbie here, obviously.
Isn't cheap either to go to these schools. Have one at ULV already - academic monster and little bro (6'2 275) is considering ULV for football.
Keep the follies coming guys, I love it.
