Congratulations to Jared.  Certainly a class guy who represented Trine and DIII athletics well.  He was fun to watch and tore us up a few times.  Only regret is that Jared did not attend Hope...can you imagine Jared in the Paint for Hope surrounded by the cast of Hope players...wow !

Congratulations to Trine as they win and will be playing Alma tomorrow.  Great game played by Trine.  Holmquist is an absolute beast and really exposed Hopes lack of toughness in the paint.  Dixon was clutch in the closing minutes as he drove the lane as if it was an open freeway with no tolls!  It was a stellar night for Stuive as he defended and contributed on the offensive end.  Great effort and contribution by Dante too.
Tonight was really an entertaining game with the outcome in question till the end.

It will be interesting to see how Hope is seen now.  I hope that we can be invited to the Dance.  We will have to see.

Rankings will be what they are, at the end of it the outcome is most likely the same.  Hope will need to simply win a bunch of games in a row against quality opponents.  Same number of wins needed independent of the rankings.  No trophies for the rankings.  I do hope that the Dutchmen can figure a way to play over 30 minutes of quality basketball in one game.  Sometimes this season they struggled to get 30 minutes over 3 game span, that needs to be behind them now.
