Nobody outside of CMU/Roch/Emory supporters probably watched the 2 CMU games this weekend.
As a supporter, these 2 performances were by far the best of the season - much more dangerous in attack, with defense coming up big with 2 shutouts.
Will be interesting to see how they do in their final 3 games: WashU, Chicago, CWRU - seems very possible to me, if they continue with this form, to see them grab at least 2/3 wins.

Can some explain when the actual schedule will be posted, and how the first  round locations are chosen for this relative newbie?

Thanks!

agreed, CMU came out very flat in the first half, with Brandeis hustling and often winning the balls that CMU typically doesn't give away.
2nd half CMU have had the bulk of possession with several very good opportunities, but haven't converted any yet

In other news, the Brandeis match report pays tribute to the untimely death of Tom Petty in surprisingly topical fashion: http://www.brandeisjudges.com/sports/msoc/2017-18/releases/20171003wojkcw

up to that point, i would have said that CMU had done what they needed to do in order to close the game out.
should be an interesting overtime

CMU 1-0 JCU at the half
towards the end of the half, CMU had some good possession, and JCU legs looked a little tired, but still fairly even.
hot day, with a water break 30 minutes in.

And CMU strike first, with an excellent run and finish by #10, Cohen.
JCU hit the crossbar 10 minutes earlier.
so far, fairly even, with the goal as the divider.

Also, the HD stream is not even HD.  I paid for one game last year and it was the same quality as the SD stream.  It's a disgrace they're charging at all.  As far as I know, they're the only school that does this.

I agree with you that it should just be free for HD but they aren't the only school that has a set-up like this. I can't name any specific schools off the top of my head, but there were multiple games I watched last year online that did a 90 second HD preview and an option to purchase that view before switching over to the less quality SD stream for the remainder of the game.
